Comment on my SC/MR/DEV Paladin!

Hey guys I haven't played RO for a good 5 years and finally i've come back! I've always wanted to transcend to a pally and my sader is already 99,for now im hunting for my gears that will be suitable for my hybrid MR/SC/DEV paladin.

INT: 1+7 (I know i'll be using a lot of blue pots =()

Full Plate (Peco peco card)
Shield (Thara frog card) <---- Is there any other shield I can use that is more useful then this?
Wool Scarf (Raydric card)
Tidal Shoes (Green Ferus Card) or maybe Verit card is better?
2 Slotted Necklaces with spore cards

I will be working on getting assualter spear so my atkspd with it would be 177.92

Smite: 5 (I maxed this out because I won't have enough points for peco peco ride, i'll use this for people who get up close and stun them and shield chain)

Defending Aura: 1 (Should I take 2 points away from smite and put it in this?)

After I get these equips im going to work my way to getting Tau Gunka Card, Cross Shield (is this hard to get?), assualter spear, etc. Oh and I was wondering if +4 armor is enough? Or is it really that neccesarily to get it to +7? I think I can deal a great deal of damage with SC and MR with this build and also be a light supporter with devotion.

I've invested a lot of time in this build and I think it can do very well, but I have you fellow experienced paladin players to critique it of course. Please guys comment on it, i've never been a paladin so any help is greatly appreciated.

For me is tooo much hybrid and please, round aspd to 178 or 177, don't end with lost stuff, it fails a bit in the end when you can end with something better for something like 1 point.
Also, more def = more physical survive, get always the best def possible without sacrificing other stuff, balance is the key for sucess.

Green ferus > verit, you've 1 int, what will do +8% sp? You won't even benefit from blue pots, is just a bit more sp... HP in the other side gives you more time to be alive and makes a lot of difference in lots of situations.

Also full plate sucks, even silk robe is better not for being easier to up but to get it with status if there is status enchanter in that server[yes, i know that def in that sucks but is easy to get a +7 with them vs the +7 of something like valk armor or diabolus armor or a simple meteor plate]...

As a final advice - get at least peco ride to have the peco to walk faster, walking fast with peco helps with devo and supporting your people, if you want to use sacrifice[martyr something skill that eats hp for dmg] just don't use it at that time!!

I'll be blunt. I've never seen hybrid pala that would work on 99/70, since it is impossible. Try something else.

Actually there are some ways to make it possible.

With some good swaping and a reseter you can go pvp with a build with 220 flee when needed, 17k hp and made for shield chain with some devo possibilities and even shield boom with link and if there is a tao even sac would be fine. You can even pressure lvl1 for some sp kill in the middle so isn't that hard to make it.

Ofc is true that there won't be any max and crazy dmg but still good enough, trust me, I used a lot vs good players and it worked fine until now but took a lot of time to get the stuff to make it work at 100%.

I understand why you used a guard as you could sell it or use it for other characters. If so why not use valkyrie shield? It is common class and gives elemental resistance against magic class.
