About MVP tanker

hmm .. can anyone teach how to use LK/paladin as mvp tanker..
what is the status and equipment should prepare use...   
for lv99/70 server max stat 99 .. thanks~

str - 97
agi - 1
vit - 99
int - 1
dex  - 31
luk - 1
that stats will increase with bnus stats, equip,bless..
I think pal and lk stats same, but im not sure..

Because i like t0 play with high aspd and magic...

Dunno the donates and whatever rates of your server but usually the best to tank mvps is def and -% stuff.

Typical normal def gears for mvps/boss stuff:
Magni's Cap+Odin's Blessing[1] with Mineral+Stone Buckler[1] with Alice
Greaves[1] with Ice Titan
Pauldron[1] with Deviling or Raydric
Cutluss[1] with Fabre
Safety Ring x2
Iron Cain
Fin Helm

If you can upgrade the stuff that can be upgraded to +10, you end with something like 80 def, if Ice Titan activates = 90 def!!

Using Alice and Deviling/Raydric makes the dmg even more crap except from some skills like Earthquack or Hell's Judgment. In this case, a Ghostring on Armor would be better.
On some MvPs, using an alice can always be bad to you thx to the slaves, in this cases, get a racial shield according the slaves and mvp, for example, for Bapho, a Ghostring and a Khalitzburg will be better then a Mineral and a Alice because he spams EQ and Hell's Judgment all the time and the slaves hurt a bit.

About the build to tank it's always like 99 vit and something else, str is good to carry pots, if you go with a paladin, get dex and vit so you can tank+devo the hp at same time and swap for a phen or orlean's uniform to recast it when needed.
Lks are better when they get devoted by a paladin thx to the both high hp pools but sill, a champ being devoted will always be better then a lk just because the dmg becomes almost s*** thx to Mental Strength.
I prefer pala, nice hp, don't need to gtfo shield to have a parry like skill and can devo the main tanker or tank and make someone else alive at same time.

try using  Aloe Leaflet to heal HP...

Normally people will tank with a Champ steel bodying, and use devotion etc. Gears pends on what your killing and all.  n_n; For some information on what you can do for party set up there are usually some decent youtube videos. Test around on teh test server yourself if you want, then you know what you like, what works best etc etc.

You can't tank randgris with a Steel Body Champ. Dispell in sight, bye Steel Body.
[If you've a GTB just ignore this line and the next one lol Dispell can't happen with that on]

If you want to really tank randgris, tell someone to use safety wall with you and randgris in a corner so jt don't push back you and try to get some way of holy armor(BSS, Gospel, Angeling Card, Crusader Card Set or high mdef but mdef = low def and that sucks) or just get someone to not stop hitting her or 1 Holy Light KO =D
