What do you want to be done anyway? If you are looking for the weapon and shields, they are annoying to hell just from looking at them because of the duplication of items using repeated sprite. When in the actual game only a handful of them have a sprite showing. Many weapons and shields are either not show at all or just show the basic one in game. Don't forget certain jobs can't possibly equip certain item class in game. For example, if you are looking to put on a fist for a hunter it's simply not going to happen.
I'll consider the current WIP is the best effort of last year. It'll take a lot of time to sort out the weapon and shield mess and it's not going to be fun for anyone doing it. Due to their "missing" and "repeating" nature.

I know the weapon and shields are just duplicated but I'm currently looking forward for the new dyes and hairstyles mainly.
I swear when I see the new hairstyles that have been added I'll throw one hell of a major celebration dance party! /ho

I may write a guide about how to do that soon, if someone wants. /ho

That's simple /ok
First, use GRF Tool here http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=download_tool (http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=download_tool) to extract the 'data.grf'
Then use SPR Conview (In same link as above) to view the sprites which you will find in /data/sprite folder
Inside the folder, you will see lots of folders with really awkward characters like "¸ó½ºÅÍ", don't feel weird, that's how this works
