I will presume most people here are aware of heRO.  However there are more then a few other role play servers, and they tend to attract a specific crowd of players.  These are generally high school or college aged, experienced gamers, and serious about gaming.  When done well, an rp server is truly beautiful to behold.

I would suggest also that a check box be added, specifying whether or not the server is an RP server.  I have seen some players confused when they log on and no one knows what a "control panel" is, because everyone is in character.  Having a specification for this will let players know they are expected to be in character when they log in.

I also suggest that the criteria for an RP server be the following.

1) A clear and coherent storyline relating to the world of Rune Midgar and the characters in it, outside of the iRO/kRO storylines.
2) At least one (1) story line event a month.
3) Most, if not all, players can be expected to be in character while playing.
The most dangerous thing a GM can do is to play NPC combatants as if they have brains, goals, and the desire to remain alive.

While I'm not so sure about everything, I actually believe it might be a good idea to have the ability to add a pre-designed check mark thing for RPing. =D So, at least that part I support. Not sure about the criteria.

i put myself on holiday after the last update xD

and after that i will be working on improving the rating section a bit.

probably need a check box & search option for pk server too.

one thing that make it difficult is to have the current server update their listing, you know ... people always tend to ignore newsletter or the like ...

Maybe add more of those custom server features, there are 3 at the moment, 5 or +would be nice. It might be hassle-free compared to adding new features.

Otherwise if adding new yes/no options, guess they can be set to "no" by default and servers will come update them? Or can it be scripted that the features doesn't appear unless the server has updated their listing?

Have a nice holiday ^_^
