Pre-Renewal server close to official

Are there any server/s here that are very close to the official Pre-renewal RO?
Customization is very minimal.
no Dyeing of clothes.. headgears can be obtain at quests
and has a population of more than 1k-2k everyday
Low-rate to Mid-rate only..

You won't even find one with more than 100 players if close-to-official is a requirement.

The two biggest ones that at least try to stay fairly close to official that I know are:
ElariaRO (it has a lot of dyes, though)
SimplyRO (very close to official, only a few dyes, no rebirth)

You might want to try LifeRO, we're a pre-renewal server which is VERY close to the official server but not exactly the same as the official server.
All valuable items are obtained in-game and we have 150+ players everyday (Without dual logging). The links are on my signature~ (Including the server info)

Hmm true, according to molds001's requirements, LifeRO is an even better choice, you even have official dyes.

By the way, just for your info, the link to your website doesn't seem to react (the forums work, however).

Some of your decisions seem strange, on one hand you stay closer to official than even the close-to-official servers I know by having official dyes, no healer, no job changer, etc., but on the other hand there are 'crazy' customs like card remover and spawn/drop changes. =o

My current server is balik-RO [chaos] a mid rate server,99/50.. pre renewal and no custom dyes, no trans.. everyday i play with 1.6K players.. and 2.5k players online every WOE.. if you do not believe try to play within the server.. here is the link.. http://balik-ro.net/  choose chaos.. so yeah! i just don't think, i know that a server can have over 500 people online nowadays.. that's cute..

Also BalikRO is quite an exception. I guess we should have referred to >English< servers.
BalikRO is one of those SEA servers that still have a good population, but I find them quite unreliable. Just look at the website, it doesn't even work properly. All fields are empty and the link to the forum is broken. The link to server information or anything really still says "Under construction". No server info to be found at all. Except for that picture that says 30x exp and 40x drops (20x items? wuut?). It also says 10% card drop rate which I would already consider high rate rather than low-mid rate.
Also I want to add that it displays 730 people online right now, not 1600, but that it probably due to time zone. Not to mention that this server is delisted on RMS, so they probably broke some rules, not sure if I want to even support such a server.


Unfortunately even if you refer to non-English servers, I can't suggest you an alternative to BalikRO.

There were two servers that "claimed" they have 2000+ players. One is FreeLifeRO which seems to have been integrated into the official(?) Thailand server:

The other one is BahamutRO which really had more than 10000 players, but just five months later it is already down to 180:

The only English server with more than 1000 players that I know is TalonRO, but that's not close to official, it's a highly customized server.

So yeah, I personally still think LifeRO might be best for your requirements or just stay on BalikRO.

    Hello molds001,

    I'm happy to see you are seeking a low rate server. Hopefully the one I'm about to offer you suits your needs and you come to join us.
    OriginsRO (site: http://originsro.org/) is a server that aims to provide a fun experience close to that of official servers.
    Although we launched in October 2013, we started even before Juno update (the one that brought in 2-2 classes), and have been reasonably releasing each official episode changing only where necessary.
    We are currently on episode 0.4(Nilfheim), and our rates are 5/5/5/3 (3x is for mini-bosses and MvPs).
There is going to be some Floating Experience Event though, as you can see on our homepage's first article!
    No donation money is ever accepted unless it is a completely anonymous transaction. That is, there isn't and will never be any sort of Cash Shop, Item Mall or VIP system. We keep the server 100% free!
    There are no game-breaking NPCs like Healers, Job Changers, Free Warpers or Resetter, but we do have a tailor and a hairstylist with several cloth colors, hair colors and hairstyles (both official and custom!), plus 4 different skin tones (Pale, Default/White, Tan and Black) to be set during character creation.
    Everything will be updated about once every two months until we hit the latest pre-RE episode, from where we will focus on content developed by us, or adapted from Renewal to fit classic mechanics.
    There is also a Master Account system, so that all your game accounts are linked to a single one that you will use to log into the game from the Launcher, while using the interface to select which game account to log in. A common master storage also exists, making transfering items between your accounts even easier, and guest passwords can be set for friends or guildmates to use a single game account without learning of the other ones linked to your M.A..
    Our launcher and client have been tested to work on Windows natively, and on Linux and Mac through WINE.
