New server, not even listed yet, most people I met ingame players and Staff alike, seem rather friendly so far.
Staff seem rather open to suggestions, are approachable, can be humorous. They know is things in server which need to be fixed I guess this is why they havent listed yet, However it is fun so far even if in beta mode.
If you like to main a Champ, be prepared to work on your FO skills, for here, Asura is considerably weakened, and FO seems to be the better choice. I'm still working on my sniper to see whether it will prove to be the better MVPer in this server.

Has a "Find the Poring" auto event that starts every 60 mins,
has a "Devils Square" basically a BG event where you can kill monsters to get badges for special equips/items.

customized cards such as choco(+5 all stats), Bloody Knight(+10 all stats) justify thier nerfing of cards like Tao Gunka. MVP are vamped up, so more of a challenge which is good in a way...

Careful of Azumeh, that GM is nab!!!

But anyways, the website is really cool XD. I never knew there are lyrics to the main Prontera theme song O_O (sounds like a Japanese/Korean pop song).

Didnt mean it to seem like an advert lol, I just joined the server a day ago, experienced a great time, so thought to let others know about a decent new server.

Would have been nice if you gave scores/ratings, but you only played it for 1-2 days... Sounds like you're advertising the server to get more players to play XD.
(Not really a review if you only played it for less than like 5 days, and hence that's why you probably didn't have as many words. Could have posted this review for the RMS page of the server if it had one xD.)

But yeah, just tell your server Administrator to post up an advertisement in the Server Advertisement section if he/she hasn't done so. That would be a better way to get more players to come or at least know about this new server. Anyways, good luck with the server, and hopefully, you'll continue to like it =D!

population is low as so far its only friends and staff and friends of friends Yukino, and isnt that what a review is? tells about server a bit from a persons own view point.. either promoting server or demoting it depending on persons personal experience?
I cannot say much of WOE, but it does have auto events as I already stated, and pvp is alright for low pop so far, GMs are obviously quite active and available, which I already kinda said If you read between the lines, what more do you wish? ;p <3

I guess XD, though reviews tend to be written after experiencing the server more so (not within 2 days and such)...
But I think you updated your thread to have more points now, which would make it more like a review than an advertisement XD. Before, you just basically stated what they offered (and nothing too personal as a review would do, which personally sounded more as an ad to me), which could fit within the 500 characters (check the review guideline; it says that you should post more than what can fit on a regular review for an RMS page, but I guess I can see where you're coming from as they don't have an RMS page yet).
As long as you add more points later on, I think it's fine then as a proper review. My previous posts just stated what I felt as I read your review, that's all (by-stander). Hope that you'll keep updating as you find more things that you like about the server =). Good to know that you're enjoying it so far, regardless of the low population.

The auto-events mentioned don't seem that special, but I'm guessing there are unique ones to the server? I love auto-events =D. Meh, I like any event really. I really like the website--the Administrator did a good job with it XD.

But yeah, suggest to your Administrator about making an advertisement thread if he/she hasn't done so. It'll help promote the server. Same with getting an RMS listing when it's ready =D (but an advertisement thread can come first I guess).

I hate to post negative stuffs, especially for a server which has such friendly staffs... yet being friendly and helpful is not all of what staff should be.
Slim-RO could be an excellent server if only the admin could get control of his GMs, and enforce his "rules" from what I see no rule that gets set never is enforced, so basically seems like is "no rules" like one GM even so much as said when I told one player to go read the rules...

Sorry David, but enfore your rules, control your staff which I see running amuck doing almost pointless things with @ commands.

It saddens me to see such a good player as you to post something like this.

Because this is a new server, it is still going under some minor changes upon the rules being implanted. In a simpler, yet rude way to say it, "we're adapting as we add things".

I surely wish that you, of all the people, who has been on our server for quite a long time, understand that these things take time indeed.

As for the "rule enforcement", we are trying to get our players to see for themselves and understand that in a community you need to not only be respectful to everyone else, but also help the players who are new to the server.

I am a GM on the server myself. I surely have banned people doing illegal things, muted people who did not respect or had their conduct questioned by me and the other players as well.

Once again, if you do talk about me, or anyone on the staff for that matter, I just hope to see that you reconsider your argument and ask yourself wheter this is the right oppinion to give and show everyone else. We do have rules, and our GMs are active most of the time (By the way, there's only one GM at the moment which would be me. The others are only in charge of international issues). Also, we do have a forum so if you have any complaints, you are once again encouraged to post those in the forums (It is there for a reason). I see players complaning and I expect more from players as you expect more from the GMs. So if you see something unfair, you can use the forum or contact our administrator as easily.

Neo, I meant no harm to Slim, as I even said, It is a good server, just the staff need to be more proffessional, and there may only be one real GM, yet lvl 20 mediators are staff just the same, and as staff, should act like staff.

As for the staff, they are limited on what they can actually do with the commands.

We did that to avoid corruption or anything of the sort. If you have any complaints you are welcome to come and report them on the forums or to me directly.

We have the international support staff just so people from around the world can play our server, and they are also there to support you or anyone else who wants to play.

As far as commands go, they really are limited and can't do much; However, if anything went wrong on the server then yes they should report immediatelly.

I know criticism only makes us grow stronger, but I just think you should have brought up the problem to the community without making it public first.

Anyway, for further reference, not only you but everyone else is invited to play (always), and I hope you can grow to have a good time on Slim

hmm.. maybe I was a bit harsh, as it is still new, and I do understand that the owner and you have been rather busy working on the server.
I guess we will just have to wait and see how things are in a few weeks or so.
But yea I do hope staff tightens up a bit for servers sake, as is a lot of work that has already been put into this server, would be a shame to see it wasted.

Wow, it's like the copy of the old XileRO as far as I can figure out from the site. Would have given it a shot if there weren't those crazy armor sets.

I left XileRO for the very reason, that after choco cards and BKC (that's when server had like 300 pop.) came the armors that ultimately resulted in its shutdown.

Why it's funny you have mentioned that!

Let's do this step by step.

First of all, in case you haven't checked out our website lately, it is nothing like the other server you have mentioned.

Not only we constantly and -almost- daily update it, our interface is pretty much NOTHING like it. The only resemblance is the

background, which is black. What I can suggest is that you take a little more time to explore the whole content on our website

before you make such a statement.

Secondly, we DO NOT have crazy armors, sets and overpowered items. We do have custom sets and might have a few overused

sprites by all the other servers, but I guarantee you that we have lots of custom items and everything is balanced, unlike most

PvP servers that are out there. Oh, and on a side note, all equipment is attainable IN game.

Third point: Our server is updated with the new SVN version. We are currently testing 3rd jobs and working on the balance. We

figured since people are adapting to all the new dungeons and mobs/jobs, there'd be no reason for us to stay in the past.

With that being said, I strongly suggest that you take your time to actually play the server before further judging it without even

knowing anything about it. I also encourage you to come by our forums and check out our community, be up-to-date with our

updates, and know us a little better.
