My first server. I'll try (no promises) to be as objective as possible.


Population
Large and probably it's biggest advantage. Around 400 players at any given day and over 1000 on weekends. Mostly English speakers but you get your occational international user of latin or filippino/pacific islander decent. Generally, not nice and not mean. Sort of mid range. Lots of newbs but that's to be expected from a large server.

Mechanics
Unbalanced in the general way. Alchemist can AFK with homculous and the general wizards pawn at MVP because of large magic attacks, hunters level fast and knights are power houses.

Economy
Deflated and semi-unstable. The item Gold for example should be like 1.2 mil but people sell it as low as 700k. Best way to make money is Geffinia.

Donations
Way unbalanced. Basically, if you don't donate... and of the people who did will level like 3 times faster than you. Agura (which is 10 EURO) is super leveling buddy tool of mastery. You can get to advance job 2 in an hour or less. Wings give +30 all stats and are the most popular item. They are pretty iffy about the donation items. Asura became a donation item and some time later it (I think a skill) was disabled. Whether users got their money back, I don't know.

WoE
Not that competative, at least with the castle I was protecting with my mates. This is surprising considering how large the population. Many people seem to intimidated to try it out.

Sever Stability
Played for like 1 month and there would be at least 2 crashes/log off on a weekend or friends and 3-4+ during weekday. The server is not reliable and it crashes a lot. .__.; About 2 days ago, people could log on... but couldn't walk properly. The crashes ranged from 15 minutes to 3 hours.

GM
Although there are a few with the best intention that want to help people, they are very unorganize. Last time they apologized for server instablity want in Oct.
The rest seem a bit immature and with a semi-power trip. At first I thought it was funny and amusing. A GM would transform into a monster ("Godzilla" once) and walk around the town. I thought OOo that's cool but then...
During a wedding, if a person didn't get off the altar where the couple was, they Admin would say I'm getting pissed. Get off. Then jail them instead of explain the rule and strait to jail. One in particular would play the "douche bag game" and announce everyone on the server to PM [insert username] and call him a douche bag. Not to say they don't deserve punishment, but name calling? <_<;
The biggest thing that annoyed me is they would add a rule and not update their rules page and then annouce it once. Expecting everyone to know.... like the entire server was on-line at one time.
They would spam vote sometimes. Most especially when the vote reset. At one time, the GM was complaining that we could SO be number one with some many people on the server and tried to sould semi-treatening. (<-WTF)

Server Status is down (on either foxfire or explorer) and forums don't work for some reason. >.>

You may disreguard this but I just want to know if it was true. Three days ago there was a rumor that rebirthRO was going down and completely crashing. I wasn't there but a lot of people mentioned that the GMs were talking about how the server will down soon. Supposedly some of them quit or were replace (and I kind of believed it because Pont turned into PVP for that day, something that never was suppose to happen). Supposedly Syphon was going to start another sever. Next day, someone else said that Syphon is just calling it a rumor. So I don't know....
