Project Sunshine is truely QoL

I find Project Sunshine to be an incredibly life-changing experience, due to how they had an incredibly successful beta test run and then when officially open, they tried their best to get as much positive reviews from players. When things started to settle down a little bit and players are comfy and committed their time, project sunshine decided to pull out their final trump card, " infinite fly wing " and cash shop items     

Project Sunshine is the goat, it helped me to truly realise that the only way to truly enjoy ragnarok is to just make an offline server and enjoy it by yourself. I also find it incredibly funny to see some familiar faces in the server, to waste their time playing and then pull off bad reviews as well     

Im glad that i stopped wasting time playing private server

The players need to realize that no private server is permanent. Any donation system whatsoever that these private servers try to pull is an upper hand for that player period!

The only donation that works is non-incentivized donation. Obviously you don't get anything... but the cost of running a server is not cheap so they have to pull the trigger and any server cannot cater to everybody, in the end, its up to the server owner to do whatever they want.

Most of these servers nowadays are very repetitive. Once they get their money... they crash and burn. Not enough donation... well shut it down... all we gotta do is make another server... more cash input!

Not that anyone trusts WarpPortal to keep a classic server up permanently, due to them closing theirs in the past, I'd still have more faith in an official server being maintained long term than a private server.
Private classic servers have a horrible track record, opening and closing more often than the seasons change.

If WarpPortal announced an official classic/pre-renewal RO server that received their maintenance funds from SUBSCRIPTION fees instead of predatory cash shop items or donations, I'd join in a heartbeat.

Subscriptions work well for WoW classic, and can work well for RO classic.
Not only does it keep the funding steady for the server's maintenance, the quality of the community is better because players actually have something to lose if they misbehave rather than just making endless accounts for free.

I only played Project Sunshine for like 10 mins and then quit, just not my type of thing. And sure! Youre free to have positive comments for Project Sunshine, but so am i to have my own opinions and my comments on it  .

If they pulled out infinite fly wing + cash shop out of nowhere thats a red flag to me lol, since ure left with your own thoughts about whether if theyre gonna pull out a different turd or not. I just find it funny and wanted to give my thoughts on it.

So currently 420 players online minus 150 autotraders divided by 2 ( Dual-client ) equals 135 players. Not too shabby but still your number is kind of exaggerated

You can search back in discord messages and see that they announced they are going to have infinite FW waaaay before the opening, pulling this was never out of blue by any means.

Dont know why u gotta be sore with me joking on project sunshine, but fact of the matter is i have legit screenshot of the population while you are not, so why should i take your words seriously?     . Also funny how you stated infinite FW was announced way back, but such an OP cash shop item is left unannounced or stated until release xD.

From the response this admin gives on negative reviews, it strangely sounds like Chrystia Freeland. Positive trends, server is doing great, yadda yadda yadda, love and peace will prevail. Meanwhile, DDOS continues? o_O If this is true, then this person definitely watches Canadian politics, and believes talking out of their donkey will bring forth some sort of outcome that will erase the issues at hand. The fact that they are muting people constantly, and just NOT replying to them properly, so they shut up, they instead choose to mute. Very Canadian. I can't wait for the next wave of supporters to turn rogue. Reading this stuff is actually fun

I got 24 hr mute for replying to someone that said 'You can get fly wing ingame so it isn't p2w' with 'You can get valk armor in game so selling it wouldn't be p2w?' - Seems like a low bar, simply trying to have a conversation about what would be p2w is mutable/bannable.

I also dislike the 'go open support ticket' whenever someone posts about an issue, big red flag for me after previous servers do the same thing.

Also too much zeny avaialble on RMT websites(500m 9 sellers I found) for a lowrate with massive downtime a bit over a week after opening, only server I've seen with more was ML and that had known RMT admins on it.

I pray one day someone buys the rights to RO off warpportal and does a true classic or progression server.

Damn, that sucks. Yet Reborn was calling people m-r-ns, stupid, gay, Aaron's telling people to shut up and such but nothing was done, all it took for me to get banned was:

Ingame people talking over global chat about how the proxies fixed the ddosing - during normal not ddos'ed hours
Me: Proxies don't stop ddosing, all they have to do is split the traffic between the proxies and the server will still crash.
Random: That's sus, you know to much
Me: I know, having common logic is a crime these days.
Was force DC'ed seconds later and kept getting Force DC'ed every few minutes after I tried coming back. Posted a review on RMS and to find out later I was no longer able to connect to the server, likely using the white list thing they talked about that was going to "protect the server from DDosing". White listing is used to allow or stop people from connecting, not stop traffic from flooding the connection, as white list takes effect after data is processed on the server box...

On the discord the day before I was standing up for someone that was being called stupid for asking if the staff could leave the server up over the weekend or at least take a vote to see what the players would want. [Me] Saying there is no need to be calling someone stupid for having a different opinion or viewpoint, then the name caller said some thing like "I know self centered and entitlement when I see it" and I said calling someone else stupid does seem pretty entitled, your actions scream volumes for what kind of a person you are.

So seems the not harmful members are being struck by the GM's while the toxic ones are being left to do as they want. Otherwise the last time I said anything on the discord server was around the 30th of March, which the above was the 5th of April and I can only recall one time even posting about the server crashing since launch was a gif of DJ kali dancing and saying "Its anotha one" which likely was the second or third time the server crashed after launching which was the 29th of March.

With the server having a collective of 1.6 billion zeny between roughly 300-400 unique players and 500 million of it is being RMT'ed.... That is just under a third of the current available zeny mean while the highest ranking zeny holder has 20 million and drops quickly to 9 million.

Ya'll just a bunch of haters trying to ruin Project Sunshine. We have 780 players online with only 150 autotraders. We announced infinite FW way before beta and players that complained about it are dummies and dont know how to read     

Server also has DDoS protection now and we havent had a single lag ( DC ) for almost a week. GMs also apologised what else do u want, licking your nut? Go outside and touch some grass       

I dont know why but RO community just gotta be the worst community period
