Hello, my name is Deivid and I'm a player of an awesome server called Phantasm RO

I'm making this review because I feel that i should share it.
based from my experience,staff are absolutely helpful. There's always at staff member online. There's events constantly throughout the day. And the Admin of the server is Active and he always insist on helping everyone around and willing fully to show you on what you been asking him about,& socialize to anyone.. hosts his own events several times a day... and supports all players.
The staff are great friends with everyone, and are professional, they dont have legit characters, very proffesional and dedicated to the job.

The community is awesome. The Admin has given us the freedom of being able to express our opinions and be free as long as we don't abuse it. So if you look at the forums, I think you'd be quite entertained by the RaidCall and find it's easy to fit in with our community.
They have some excellent scriptors. That create unique NPCs and instances. They often go unnoticed, but we'd be nothing without them.

The server is fair, in terms with pvp, fun WOE, Events.they put a Thrill on the Hunt and its Fun! and NOT Corrupt.
its a new server,1 month old. They're working on making the server balance to all donors,non donor and they really stick to the meaning of the word Donation. not Domination

I really enjoy playing this server and i hope you will too.

This is a pretty new server and i'm quite impressed with it.

Alright, now onto the actual review.

Community: When I first joined the server it was kind of small , but the community was always extremely friendly. As with the growth the community is still just as friendly. It's grown pretty large over the past month, faster than most Super High Rates. The community is really newbie friendly, and help people with farming, and other stuff. Everyone on this server besides a few players who do the regular trashtalking in PvP are respectful to each other.  All in all I give the community 10/10.

Economy: The Economy was pretty bad at first, but it's began to settle itself out pretty well. Although it still needs a bit more time to fix out all the kinks in it. Every player has equal chance to get rich, on this server. I give the economy 8/10.

Balance: For a super high rate the balance of this server is amazing. You can't just win with auto attacking players in PvP, you actually have to use skills. You can see pretty much any class in PvP and they can all dominate equally. Donators do not have more of an advantage here at all, which is rare.  Literally all classes can dominate, Creators, High Wizards, SinX's, Proffs, Ninja's, Etc. PvP Is based on resists, and using actual skills. This server even added SOME 3rd class skill, and still maintained balance. Since every player has a chance to obtain cards, and equips there is literally no problem with balance. Balance 10/10.

Stability/Availability: The server is up pretty much 24/7 except for maintenance. There is rare lag from the host, but it's of course the host. Maintenance never really lasts that long, maybe 2-4 hours tops depending on the updates. Other than that the server is up 24/7, with rare lag. I give the Stability/Availability 10/10.

Game Masters: Well, there is quite a bit to say a bit this.
[Friendliness] All GMs on this server are beyond friendly. They treat all players with respect, even if they get disrespected. They have personal relationships with all players. GMs actually are friends with players here, instead of just a professional relationship. The GMs on this server, can sit and talk with players about personal stuff, and game related stuff. GMs and Players talk about each others days, feelings, etc. If a player has a problem with a GM on our server, they fix it with that player.
[Helpfulness] GMs on this server are basically wikipedias in a bottle. All of them are extremely helpful, and go out of their way to help players that need it. They help any player they can, no matter what the question, or problem, and they are very open to suggestions.
[Activeness] The GMs on the server are always active. There is ALWAYS atleast 1 GM online to help out players, they always host events so you don't ever get bored. They have different GMs for different timezones, and a lot of the GMs speak 2 languages, and if they don't they try their hardest to still help that player.
I give the staff 10/10.

Miscellaneous: There are always events going on, automated or GM Hosted events. This server has many customs, and many different fun things. Custom Instances, Custom Items, Custom weapons, And much much more. There are quests, Active PvP/WoE. You won't be bored ever.

It's no doubt the best Super High Rate server out there right now, It's fun, active, friendly, and just amazing all in all. There is so much you can do, and it's just an epic server.

Phantasm RO is a new Super High Rate server that has been online for about a month and is being highly recognized for its fast growth and performance.



In terms of it's accessibility and stability, the server runs for 24 hours except if there are major updates to be done. The down time would only take an hour or two and the wait is absolutely worth it. There is NO lag and the connection is undeniably flawless. 10/10

The level of customization that this server offers is highly remarkable. They implemented their own currency (namely the Phantasm Tickets and Coins) that are being used to acquire certain items. The items here are not overly designed nor over powered which allows the players to emphasize their desired fashion in every way possible. There are also custom regions that offer customs mobs that drops custom cards that adds something like 5% chance to cast Bowling Bash etc. The housing system, fishing and mining, not to mention the casino are only some of the many features that are available in this server which is ideally to increase the interest of the players. A custom instance is also available wherein players can have a challenging experience on the custom mobs there. There are also automated events that are being operated like the Jumper Event, Poring Catcher etc. that would surely refrain the players from being bored. 10/10

Analyzing the server's balance, one can actually see no flaws to it. Every player is given the equal chance to be luxurious and of course, an equal chance to dominate. The requirements for the quest items are reasonable. Even the items and cards are balanced to everyone's advantage. Example, the GTB card is nerfed to 30% resistance etc. Another is that Seyren cards are reduced to +50 Str. Another good thing is that the donate items don't exactly overpower the quest items. Like, the donate items give 10% resistance to elements and the quest items have 7% which is actually a fair case. WoE is also a challenging part in which most of the players are actively participating to conquer the castle and be justly compensated with castle rewards. 10/10


The server's community is frankly one of the friendliest and most welcoming ones that a player can ever see. New players are being helped out, not only by the Game Masters, but also by the old players. Regardless of the server's increase in the number of players, a newbie can actually fit in very well in a short amount of time. 10/10


About the Game Masters/Staff, they are all very accommodating. One proof to this is that there is always a large quantity of players that join the GMs events. These events are being hosted from time to time and assures every player that once joined, each will be properly compensated with consolation prizes. The GMs are very open to every player's needs/questions/opinions. Each one of the staff are oriented with their schedules to which they should be online depending on their timezones. And since the members of the staff came from different countries (like Philippines, Malaysia etc.), a player can actually interact with any GM regardless of their nationality since most of the staff are also bi-lingual.  10/10


In conclusion, Phantasm RO is undoubtedly one of the best and the finest servers that ever online. If you are looking for quality and an immense, fun-filled experience, you wouldn't want to miss Phantasm RO.

Seriously?  That sounds big for a low-rate but don't know what kind of impact it will have on a SHR.

I don't know what type of SHR is this but this can go from consumables that people had stored to MVP cards and even to Coins/Donates? It's a bit of work and bad to players even if it's a SHR.

The good news is that it has only been up for less than 2 months, so missing items shouldn't be so hard to replace. The bad new is that it has only been up for less than 2 months, and that does not look good for server history and, like Triper said, bad to players.

You hope that they have backupped their files previously lol XD to reduce the damage ><. All servers should execute a routine of backing up their server files.
Since they have been growing well, they should have had this in mind...

Don't know about their situation, but hopefully that is the case. Good luck to this server =D seeing how it climbed so quickly on RMS's review ladder for SHRs! Hope to hear good news about this server ^^ (there's a lot of hoping in this post haha xD).

Yes we've got the server back-upped just before this happened. We do back it up everyday for the record.
And thanks alot Yukino for the kind words, I'll do try to make my server better everyday!

The server wasnt sql injected... u guys were stupid enough to leave a .zip backup of ur entire webserver on phantasm-ro.net with directory listing enabled. Lots of ppl just downloaded it and found ur gameserver database password in one of ur control panel files. All player passes were saved in plaintext too so i would change all passwords as many ppl still have a backup of ur whole database
