ApocalypseRO - Aurora Server Review

Hello all, as a long time player of the current server's GM older ones, it's about time I posted about how I feel about the server currently.

First things first. Aurora is a partially new server (Ain't even been one month) inside the ApocalypseRO Network (Aurora / Twilight / Elysium), and because of this:

The Economy will be rated a 1 due to the fact that currently we have a small community. But we are continually growing at a stable pace and will hopefully have some form of economy in the game  .

And the other attribute: Guild Competition will also be rated a 1, because currently WoE has not been available due to the fact the GM wanted it to be fair for all. So he gave us 1month time, before the WoE actually starts. With these out of the way.. on with the review!

Server:

Stability: 9

The Aurora server, or rather the network is pretty stable, the only time minor lag really comes into the game is when the other servers on the network is in WoE.

Availability: 9

You will hardly find this server / network offline, because of course to actually handle running a RO Network you would need a pretty good computer overall. So that said, the only time the server is actually down is because of a patch update, or sometimes when the machine actually needs to be rebooted.

Community:

Friendliness: 10

Currently, the friendliness of the community is pretty good, you will hardly ever see any people acting arrogant or what not. And of course, all the of the players ingame would be willing to help out any starting players. But only time would tell whether this rating would go down, due to this being a short-lived server in all.

Eventfulness: 10

Players are always asking for group activities, be it levelling or MVPing. It's understandable though because of the features found on the server. And obviously it would be much funner to party up rather playing yourself (this is what I believe).

Game Master:

Friendliness: 10

The GM of the server, is actually only one person. Dont let this put you off though because this is balanced from some features found on the server (autoevents, for an example). He's a great guy that is willing to help out any players that are just starting, with there questions (and there probably will be, due to this not being like your regular RO server).

Availability: 8

That said, being the one and only GM on the server, who's actually currently busy with things such as studying etc. So really, you can't really expect a full mark for this one. But what I will say is, that the GM prioritise's the server to be pretty important, so he is actually frequently online just to "check up on stuff", but as I said before even when he's not on the community would be more than willing to help out with the normal stuff, such as questions etc.

Helpfulness: 10

As explained above, during the time in which the GM is on he is helpful and reliable to all the players currently ingame, whether it be questions or any other problems (Server information, account problems, you name it)

Gameplay:

Economy: 1

Already been explained in the beginning. Being a new server with a currently low population (help change this!) you can't really expect to have a great economy right there..

Guild Competition: 1

Also been explained in the beginning, for fairness sake the GM has given the players one month time before actually activating WoE (This is for players to actually hunt out there items, being it normal or custom, so that players dont suffer from some other jobs like Sniper/SinX etc)

Class Balance: 10

The balance of the classes, hasn't been touched so it's actually more like how a normal RO balanced would be (Snipers, SinX could have some advantages over others etc). That said there is some ways for other classes to balance out with those two. They are the features known as Spirit Forging (Way to get max stats on this server) and the Set items (Custom armors), depending on how much you have of these thing's could actually turn out pretty balanced.

So all in all, I would say this is a great server that is recommended for all players (Especially those who are bored, of a normal RO gameplay). It has great custom features (the ones which are mentioned, are just a minority) and a great player community.
