MaoRO (http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=detailedlistserver&serid=2488&url_sname=MaoRO) are currently using a ripped off version of my website, http://duskro.net (http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=detailedlistserver&serid=1810&url_sname=DuskRO).

Not only is this a copyright violation, the fact that they totally mutilated and ruined my design disgusts me. I was never asked permission, nor would I give it.

As I have said in their review page, since this person is also Australian I will be prosecuting under Australian copyright laws if they do not change it. I would also like to see it removed from RMS until they do something about it.

Edit: I also have all image psd's and xhtml/css/php/java files if needed for proof.

I imagine they knew, since I am Australian a LOT of Aussie people played Dusk at some point. I also know several of the people on there, who are associated with the admin >.>

When,How,Where did YOU DEPOSE your websites as a registered Mark.
To me it seems that both of you are in the illegal side and you shouldn't treath him with lies. Your website is NOT 'copyrighted'(VERY BIG BIG WORD)
Unless you tell me how i would like to know .....

Don't talk without knowledge.
Saying that your work is copyrighted dosen't mean that it is.
If you want to copyright you need to use your OWN WORK NOT EVEN A PIXEL FROM PATENTED WORK
Then to copyright your website you need to Patent ALL of the art, Then Validate the source and then you can say :
Copyright nya nya~~
In my site i just Credited the Artists who made the Ragnarok fan kit that i used to make most of the art.
instead of trowing something like copyright around :S

Perhaps people did it for him and gave him the images, such as a contest, or just friends making it. However, they can still be copyrighted, as long as he or their makers have made it so

I work in the flash design domain and one thing that i can assure you is that no private server should have the Copyright label on his/her website.
Because the images used (or partialy) are from Gravity (The Good looking characters and maps and etc....) are considered as Patented. Thefor you cannot 'Copyright' this or that website. Plus to copyright anything there are many formalities that need to be acomplished.
1. You have to declare your 'name', [Logo,Label,Name..] at the N.A.I or N.M.A of your country/city/state (really depends on where you are , name could vary i don't know.)
2. Pay a certain amount of money, it really depends on where you are.
But none of you guys can get it simply because you are stealing the work of others without the right permissions. If you did not notice :: In the Gravity Fan kit (Pack of images of good looking chars) Disclaimer it says that you are suposed to use them for FANSITES not Private servers websites who are TOTALY illegal.

You can copyright any content on your site due to fact you wrote it or put it too gether.
