There was already a f2p server in mRO(Malaysian) and I thought we were late. Seems like people rather play than pay to play.

What's strange about the whole botting deal, is that there were a few botters that I caught on my server. Each of which said they thought it was allowed because Valkyrie server allowed them >_>;

What your players are saying is partially true. They were referring to pRO Valkyrie.

It’s illegal but everyone is doing it. Since the rules were hardly being enforced, most people started to think its legal. Now that it has become too rampant to control that people are already justifying that it IS the proper and reasonable thing to do. Worst, they criticize those who actually follow the rules for being righteous.

Late last year, pRO decided they will fight the bots on pRO Valkyrie server.

pRO is very unique. There are 3 times more bots on their servers than real players. So, if you are not botting, u are in fact the minority group. Its quite understandable for some players (especially new players) to develop an impression that botting is legal on pRO Valkyrie. I did not followup the War of Bots on pRO Valkyrie, I very much doubt pRO have won the war.

Come to think of it.... I think iRO made a mistake calling their f2p server iRO Valkyrie. When you say Valkyrie server, pRO comes into mind with its infamous botting environment. iRO should have distance themselves from pRO and call thier newly launched f2p server something else - say iRO Heimdalr in honor of their most famous GM.

What the hell is so hard to understand exactly?
If you don't know, download it, for the love of God, 3/4th's of your players are apparently EXPERTS at it.
Why not just ask THEM who are more competent than you?

Gah, I scripted a bot check that even IP bans botters. 
You're telling me my bot check is more effective than an army of official scripters?
That's absurd. 
They don't WANT to end botting, it's all a show.
They want the "fluff" on population numbers, regardless of the cost.
