Either way, not to be rude or anything. Frankly, no. Theres already a million private servers out there. People have a hard enough time choosing.

Though if your truly dedicated, Try to make a quality server that won't die in a month. Seen it happen too many times. Running a server is more work than play, and people don't usually realize that.

If your gonna make a good one, then good luck. If it's gonna be a shotty half-azzed thing, then don't waste your time, or the players.

Learn to develop your ideas first, then pepole might be interested.

But frankly no, as Glenn said there are enough servers out there already, most of them suck and a server made for the sole purpose f making a server will most likley also suck. Just go download eA and do your own little thing on your computer if you want to mess around with servers just for the hell of it, that way you'll only be wasting your own time.

My two cents on the matter, which I've seen others voice around before is:
If you want to make a server, first and foremost, do it for you and your friends, don't try to publicize it until you've gotten the hang of running a server. If you think your server can offer something others don't, and they have reason to try it out (and there's no reasons on sight for a sudden death of the server) THEN you could try opening it up to the public.

As the other said, there's way too many servers already. Opening one for yourself and your friends, to learn from the experience and all that is fine, but don't open yourself to stress and your players to distress until you are truly ready to run one.
