Do you think that would attract players in?

Sounds very gimmicky, but it would make players stay for some more time, @more things for players to do

Reminds me of Animal Crossing. But hell, I'd probably do it.

Well i have them added in already. Beings as i am a new server i wanted to know if it would do well. So far it sounds like it would.


I got woodcutting from Runescape and bugcatching from Animal Crossing....Yes i played it. Sue me. D:

I was more thinking harvest moon... and god that was a boring game.

Anyway... if you have it, you need a good reason TO have it.

When you wood cut you get a chance to gain a random item from 1-20. that means there are 20 diff items that you could get. Also you take a chance of your axe breaking. The items change every 1week. Same with bug catching. Its for players to have something to do if they get bored. More fun for the players.

Sounds good to me.

What do you mean what do you do with the items? There jus random ingame items.

You have to use an axe to chop the tree.

If you can chop down a tree and get a random item that does nothing and has no real worth, it's silly to implement it in game just to say you have it.

Im not saying it jus to say i have it. Im saying i have it for the players to have fun on my server. I needed to add things that puts me apart from other servers.

No. You're not reading Lemon's post thoroughly. Lemon asked what uses are those random items. Usable? Quest item requirements? Useless but high priced item(NPC IT)?

And to answer that reply some items are for quest's and some are rare headgears that the chance to get are really low. I understood what she said. I answered with a reply that went with it. Random items.

I would rather play the real animal crossing or harvest moon(haven't played that in a while. ooh I should =D) instead.

Wood cutting. Fishing. Mining. Bug catching. And finding secret stashes.

The secret stashes are hidden on maps.

When players find one they can search it for rare items.

A server I used to play on used to have treasure chests hidden on some maps. Which you needed a certain amount of silver keys to open. Al la Fable style. Was cool.

I'd do it. But then again, I'd do prettymuch anything that gets me away from the annoying grind. :v

And in the long run you'll be grinding for bugs and wood.

I have decided not to shut down XD.

To me those features are pretty unnecessary. Too many features like this takes away the RO feeling.

The player's playing my server are happy.

They were tired of all the server's being the same just about.

Oh, I'm by no means mad. I'm just asking you politely if you're done flaunting your server features and letting everyone know that you had em on your server. I never said you said that I had to like it. I never even hinted that I even liked it. What are you yapping about? Did I say you're advertising? I said you're masked advertising. There's a distinct difference between the two. And yes, I will continue thinking what I want, so I found that statement highly redundant. I do not believe that my train of thought would have changed either way should you have mentioned otherwise.

And no, it's by no stretch threatening. And your thread initially started out to be a question, then it digressed into a "My server features are awesome, and if you don't like it, you're wrong, because I like it and I'm proud of it and I totally adore it because even my players adore it and that makes me so really awesome because I am the first one to invent bug catching and wood cutting and yeah that is how many words I can stuff into a single sentence without using a period".

You can keep the topic open or close. That's entirely up to you. I'm not here to tell you what you can and can not do.
