Thoth or someone can help me?
I'm trying to copy the skulls,mushrooms,etc from thot.grf and put in my grf,using browedit.My maps have the lines of each cell,but i really liked thot's feature.The problem is,every time i try to copy only the objects,using global heigh editor(F2>sellect the area>c>sellect only model),browedit crashes..... There's another way to move the objects from thot maps to my maps?

I don't really know what you want with these raw files, because there are many costumized ones around, but here you are:

The glittering effect of dispel has been cutted out in this file. If you want the original file go to your data folder and extract the following file:

µð½ºÆç.str

If you need some support for grfs you may should write a pm to me, because I'm not very active in this board and read pms faster as whole threads.

May I ask how to remove lightmap from a particular map? :o

Removing a the complete lightmap source would be a very bad idea, trust me.
Lightmap files can be changed with borf's brow edit.

Note:
Lightmap files are advanced modifications and nothing for beginners. You cannot destroy much but need a some time before you know how to handle it correctly.

i downloaded your antilag.grf and merge it using grf builder.exe and while playing i always encounter error that says "skills not in range" or something like that. how will i fix it. i love your grf because it shows the exact item even if its not identified

You need to be careful with that. It's modification of the itemdatabase in form of .txt document. Most of them are outdated and you get errors on newer stuff like drops from splendide field.

this was the error i always encounter when using maxsys antilag.grf. everytime i use skill on my self this error always pops-up. can someone help me try to fix it?

Remove the txt files from the grf. They don't work on every platform.

Hi, I am always a RMS user but mostly just on reading some post or articles, and this is my first time to ask.

So i learned some basics on how to edit some GRF, but may I know what is the "PATH" or file name of "Grand cross" of Crusader? and also "Strip, shield, weapon, helm, armor" of Rogue
also if u have some GRF or effects that modified those skills I would be so thankful for it.

also I have dispell GRF, but evertime a sage cast dispel the effect also disappear so FAST, unlike to the others that I saw, the "DISPELLED" effect stays for a while like 3 seconds.

hope someone will help me.

--there is no longer any need to use /lightmap on bg/woe maps, as I have removed the lightmap.
--to make this work, put the grf in your RO folder, and then open DAT.INI or whatever the file is. some servers it will have some random filename to hide it, but its always there.

========this grf has:
--barricades and guardians stones will die instantly, instead of fading away.
--spellcircle is now squareshaped when casting to better identify affected areas.
--blueish notexture(reduces lag) for woe and bg maps only: I did not want the entire RO world to be colorless. if you want notexture for pvm maps, you will need another grf. I gave it a blueish tint as I found it less offensive to the eyes than grey.
--leaves removed from the trees found in geffenia and odin temple.
--stun status now has large stars.

--reduced effects for wizard spells storm gust, lord of vermillion, meteor storm
--reduced the size of barricades, flags, guardian stones so people can't hide underneath their sprites and be unclickable.
--unlimited zoom, anywhere
--altered the size of monsters to assist in targeting the following mvps instead of their minions: ktullanux, pharaoh, osiris, fbh, ifrit, gtb, randgris, kiel, vesper, satan morroc, doppel, ghostring, mistress, darklord, eddga, evil snake lord
--replaced the huge emperium graphic with a treasure chest. generally I wanted to reduce the size so people couldnt hide under it, but might be a little offcenter
--sleep status has big red ZZZ to make it more obvious.
--most all minimaps for dungeons, buildings, quests, bg, woe
--slight change to manner.txt, but the most vulgar things still censored
--tarot card pictures changed to be more descriptive
--most bard/dancer songs cut from 30 secs to 3 secs to be less annoying when spammed

Can someone teach me how to get the magic circles of the wiz skills in the first pic of this grf (not the squared one)? and how do i put it in my own grf (to be used both in woe and in normal map i dont know if the magic circles can differ from map to map). thanks!
