Hello!

I am currently in a server and I am trying to find out on how to fix this screen resolution issue in Window Mode. (I can't go fullscreen because I always have other stuff at the side that I need to switch over that doesn't interrupt RO. I really like that I can just move my arrow outside the Window and do stuff)
So what is happening is that I have an eye condition and I am trying to find the best resolution for the game.
I was able to find out the best one but whenever I adjust it - it isn't the correct resolution.
I have a 2k monitor which is going for 2560x1440. I also have 2 more monitors. Top: a 1080p 24' monitor. Left: 1080p 24' monitor (portrait).
And the resolution that fits me well with Rangarok Online was 1920x1440.

Whenever I go open the setup file, I change to that. And I always do a preview so that I am correct with what I am doing. And I have done this many times before in other servers which they match perfectly with the preview version. However, when I ran this on the current server that I enjoyed joining at the moment, it doesn't match at all. It actually goes 1922x1472. So I was wondering if there's a way that this can be resolved.

Now, I am a bit close to the Owner since they invited me to the server at the very beginning and I think we can do some adjustments but they've been busy a lot. So I am looking right now if there's a fix for this that I and the Owner could work with.

I hope you guys could help me out. Thank you in advance.

Use dgVoodoo to setup custom resolutions.

Did that a long while ago. Didn't work, only gave me a white canvas of a window.
Tried asking different servers how they fixed this issue but they didn't share any info. They only either ignored me or banned me because the concern was not related to their server.

This something some servers might be using to give more options to players regarding resolution

Oh yeah... I saw this one as well. Tried it but whenever I run it, Gepard keeps deleting it and creating the default .dll file that was for the server. I tried different variety of it so that Gepard wouldn't delete it but to no avail. Had a long search through google on how to work around with Gepard.

Seen people making this work in 2 different servers. NovaRO and a pre-renewal. There were even forum guides for how to setup this.

They played just fine on super wide resolution and even on weird/highly customized resolution. You might want to ask for support on Herc or rA forums, perhaps, as the person that showed this and wrote the guides was (iirc) one of rA contributors.

So you should ask your server's admin to whitelist this then.

KRO also released a new client this September that supports directx 9 natively which solves a lot of these issues. But updating the client might be complicated depending on the server setup ~

Hmm... Not too familiar with the DirectX affecting the game, any idea?
