I think he has potential to do a great job.
All things consider, he is an ideal candidate with the proper skill set and experience, I'll be disappointed if he decides to throw this opportunity away.
Hiring someone who could almost be said to be famous for corruption seems like a terrible decision. I just created this account to say that it's very unfortunate and I hope that hotshot reconsiders the decision to hire this guy.

e: They censored it as quickly as possible, it vanished on their forums. Apparently, it's considered blasphemy to show people who/what Cookie really is. They must be very salty about not being able to censor the whole internet in that regard. /ok

i agree with the decisions to removew the mvp tombstones, the healer has to cost decent zeny to avoid some of the free champ farmin, reset prices are ok, i can live with no card remover

People told them as soon as they posted to change things because of the promised features. They are lying to their players and on RMS. I also belive the 1400 active without vendors is a lie as well ofcourse they are denying this.

Their population keeps decreasing as expected. I found some people on their forums who were shocked to see what Cookie has done and shortly after announced their quitting.

If he had actually done anything wrong in the recent months, I'm almost certain you guys would have a ton of evidence to back it up. The best part is people in this thread claiming they're "collecting data." Refreshing the ggRO forum and creating secondary RMS:CSI accounts doesn't really count as "collecting data." It actually counts more as an obsession with me and how I crumble the cookies.

I played ggRO 1 day, and it was a really good server, a lot of parties around, a lot of fun. No lag, a pretty good server at all.
What I can see, there is a lot of unconformity by having Cookie as Core Developer/Admin for players, because of 2 big issues:
* Corrupt past
* And, Cookie isn't the most nice guy around
But as the point of view of HSGG, I think it was a good decision, this guy has the skills/experience to build a successful server as what ggRO is 2day.
There is a lot of hate on ggRO, this is because (And I really mean it) this server is having a lot of success, and ppl is being jealousy in some way and also hate Cookie for his/her (don't know gender:P) past. And this part (Cookie as admin), makes angry a lot of gamers.
Cookie + success = angryBecause everyone hates cookie haha.
I
understand why players hate this guy, because we have all experiences these kind of bs (
corruption) and it totally sucks. Watching how other players are getting better gears because of the staff and beating us in the f*** woe because of that.
And
thinking on the possibility of this happening (corruption) on the server is a very annoying feeling, that's why I also think players do not want Cookie in the administration of ggRO beside of the success of the server.

their own opinion, if its worth to play there or not.

GM's are relatable, not space-head, kawaii kawaii always gotta talk super proper stand-offish dudes.
Sure, they can get annoyed, and sure they can annoy you, but I haven't had any bad experiences personally
The server could use some tweaking, some updates, some more custom content, but that goes for every server out there.

Once corrupt, always corrupt. Glad i avoided that server, even more happy that my friends listened when i warned them about it and quit sooner instead of later.
If it was 1 person ranting about the server you could call it advertising, but in this case its a server with a full page of negative reviews. Maybe you could still get the extreme drama loving players by saying "hey come join ggro, we have corruption and lies!", but that has already scared away 800+ players since its peak so i think its safe to assume people don't like to waste their time on trash servers like this. So whos left there now, just hsgg fanboys and league players who know nothing about ro?
