Rush jobs, jobs with short deadlines
Web design, banners, etc.

Ordering:
When contacting me with the commission details, feel free to include as much as you want. I can work directly off your imagination as well as my own, so detailed descriptions or even a vague idea work just fine. But be sure to mention if you want me to take artistic liberties, or if you rather everything be just as you described it.
Also, be sure to include your contact details (e-mail or messenger), and whether you want me to send you WIPs or just go on ahead and finish it asap.

-Do not ask for discounts
I offer discounts where I see fit (such as if you're a frequent customer).

-You may not use any of the sprites for donations
Unless they have been indicated as royalty-free or you have purchased a commercial use license.

-Do not contact me or post in my topics to complain about my prices.
Doing so will earn you a swift kick to the metaphorical rear.

Payment & Products:
Payments will be made through paypal (instant).

You will always get the first frame before payment (unless your request consists of just one frame, in which case I'd send you a half-complete product) and usually it will not be included in the price.
This frame will be the basis of the overall product, meaning once I've completed the first frame, I'll send it to you and you can tell me whether it's acceptable or not. If it is, I will wait for payment to be delivered and only once it has will I continue. If you're not satisfied, I will continue to make adjustments until you are, provided the required changes are within reason.
I will be more than happy to keep you up to date with on-going projects that you're commissioning from me. Just be sure to ask about it. =]

Hopefully that covers it. I hope to hear from you soon! =]

Hello, I am looking for a quote on hair, lol.  I miss my old hair. I have several screen shots from the server, now closed, that had the original.  I would like a modified copy.  Can ya give me an estimate on what it would cost?

Thanks!

@Immortal: Hi! :B Thank you for your interest. Hairs tend to consist of fifteen frames, but I can't imagine any one frame taking longer than an hour unless they're madly detailed. It'd probably end up being $20 for one/each set of long hair that isn't overly complex, $30 if it is. For basic short hair styles, I can do each set for $10.
Also, if you'd like to have different palettes for them, I'll throw in one free recolour (of your choice), whereas the other recolours would probably end up being $5 each.

@Scribbles: Haha, thank you! And yes, I love the awsmring too. :'D

Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Gaypuff on Sep 21, 2010, 06:18 PM
xD;

A chocobo is definitely within my ability to do, but it's...quite a project to take on. So many frames (http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i15/Angevon/rosprites/classes/BG/F_Crusader_Peco.png). @_@ I'd do it for a price, otherwise I can do it as an in between project and put it up on my buy page for far less than it would be were you to commission me to do it. The catch would be that anyone can buy then use it, and it'd take much longer until it's done.

Have you ever thought of making a GM sprite that was more... Casual looking?
Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Gaypuff on Sep 21, 2010, 07:39 PM
@Cheese: xD yeah, it's a lot of frames. Not to mention it's also gender specific (albeit the changes are minor) as well as for crusader, paladin, knight and lord knight.
I think to post in the resumes section on eAthena you have to have a certain number of posts. ...I should go do that. xD; So no, I haven't advertised there yet, but I will. :B

@Scribbles: I've actually been working on some GM sprites. ;o I'll probably post some work in progress shots on the blog or site or even here at some point.

YES PLEASE!!!!!  I had my female GM modified by one of my players and it is sooo much better. Unfortunately we never came up with good edits for the male sprite.  Just really HATE the GM sprites.

xD; Indeed.

I'm not a huge fan of the GM sprites either. The female one, while cute, is so...irrelevant to its male counterpart. So yes, I'm working on one of those, as well as a new monster. ;D http://spritetemp.blogspot.com/

Hi guys, just letting you know that I'm working on a small headgear that'll be available for free to anyone who wants it. Check it out: http://spritetemp.blogspot.com/
It's nearly complete.

I need someone to test this headgear for me when it's done. ;o Any volunteers? In fact, in the future when I need something tested, I'll be giving a 30% discount on buy-able sprites to any server that helps me test my sprites.
Posted on: Sep 26, 2010, 11:05 am

That's a little rude :| If you dislike Gaypuff's stuff, why post here? Green peach is nice and all, but you can hire Gaypuff and have him bring your imagination into reality :D
Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Gaypuff on Oct 09, 2010, 02:39 PM
I think he/she means that you don't have to pay someone to get custom mobs. Which is fine, since I always go out of my way to see if something someone wants doesn't already exist and is available for download, anyway.
(And if that wasn't the intention behind Berne's post, then yes, that was quite rude and unwarranted.)

But I feel inclined to say that while Green-Peach is an incredible site, a lot of the content are recolours, and those mobs aren't custom, per se, they're from another game called Trickster. That doesn't make them any less awesome mind you, but as Euphie said, when you commission me you get something that stems from your imagination and will be wholly unique to your server.

Anyway, still working on the Porkring and the GM sprite. Haven't had too much chance to sprite lately, though. Remember to hop on over to my blog for updates. http://spritetemp.blogspot.com/

oooh please, we need the new gm sprite :P

and I have to tell you, when she said she went out of her way to make sure it was not something that was already available - she went WAY out of her way.  I think she spent almost as much time doing that as the first draft of the sprite I ordered.  I really appreciated her checking that I was not offering to pay for something that was already available.  Puff is truly and exceptional addition to the paid services!.

Howdy all,

I adjusted the Cardinal hat, it now comes in three colours (red, blue and green):

Completed Porkring at last, however it still needs some testing so it'll be a short while before it's released.

Not to bring this back up, but his link leads to the Trickster mobs.  Which in all reality aren't really 'custom' considering they come from another game.  Puff here will make whatever you want, that is in his ability of course.   Which, is technically custom, since it is no where else except most likely in your head.   :3

Anyways, Puff.  Great stuff, keep up the great work. :D

Personally I find avoiding spending money on a server to be ridiculously cheap, especially when if successful, having a server can actually be profitable (even after hosting has been covered). Not to mention with the many, many servers out there already, yours needs to be unique. =/
It's nice to see others are of the same opinion, more or less. xD So thanks for the support~

Hey guys. Been fairly busy working on unique headgears for SativaRO, but I managed to squeeze in a couple of free headgears for anyone who wishes to celebrate Thanksgiving on their server. Nothing fancy, it's just a pilgrim hat and a white bonnet (which is a recolour).

You can get all required files (save for the collection files) here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/v8w3jn8wb1fwpxq/Thanksgiving.rar

May get around to doing a more fancy Turkey feather headdress soon, hopefully before Thanksgiving.

Happy New Year folks! I got a bit too tied up to finish the winter headgear I had planned, but to make up for it, I've released four new headgears that you can grab for free:

Just wondering, do you have any custom GM sprites made yet?
Title: Re: SpriteTemp

Thanks! <3 Glad you guys like those. They shall be animated and will very likely be provided for free. Just as soon as I can get actor to stop crashing. /tard

GM sprites.... I was working on one, but it's a very time consuming process so I haven't had much time for it. Also since I've started it, I've improved so I'm not that...fond of it any longer. However when I'm free next, I'll come up with a wholly unique GM sprite. I know you said you were just wondering, but is there anything in specific you'd like to see? ;o

I would love to see a new male GM sprite, too! Well, I would like to see a ban hammer version of a female GM sprite as well lol.
For the cloud customs, maybe add a rainbow to one =D. Rainbows make everything better <3.

Can we get an even better deal if we have the programs to protect your goods like Harmony/Vanguard installed servers since these servers can encrypt your goods?

Sorry, but no. I don't offer discounts for GRF protection. Encrypting GRF's is something a server owner should do, anyway. It has little to do with me.

You've been in this business for a while. And you know there are server owners out there that would just dig other server's grf and steal their goods. Your sprite goods could be one of them that can be stolen. I just brought that up because in some way you lose possible income. That server owner could have bought it from you but since it was not protected, it was taken instead from one of your customers.

It doesn't mean that we're already used to some injustice that we just let it be. If you can do something, why not go for it. I'm just saying why not support servers that encrypt goods like sprite goods from you? They win and you win.

Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Usagimimi on Sep 10, 2011, 10:40 AM
What I don't understand is,

Why should you get a discount?

I'm with Gaypuff. You should be encrypting your stuff anyway - whatever happens after purchase isn't his responsibility. If someone does steal it (which is inevitable, mind you), Puff would perhaps go after the people who stole it, and discipline all of you on how irresponsible you are.

That's like saying to Dell:

"Hey, can I get a discount if I lock my computer in a safe every night so it never gets stolen if someone breaks into my house? And if it does get stolen, is it under my warrannntttyy?"

Anology:

Computer = Sprite
Safe = Encryption
Break In = Someone exploits the GRF to sucker the files out
Warranty = Discount

Same thing. Dell's going to give brush you off - they don't care, even if you take your money elsewhere. Whatever happens after purchase isn't their problem, and if your computer is stolen, they're not going to give you a new one or discount the computer you'll buy thereafter. Not their problem, it's your fault it gets stolen.

If there's a problem with the sprite, like not sitting correctly on the character's head (or, if Dell sends you the wrong colour of PC), then I can understand if you were to get a refund / a new one. But not in this situation.

I understand where fallenone is coming from, though; however, I find that the "argument" is more for their advantage rather than genuinely thinking about Gaypuff's revenus.
Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Gaypuff on Sep 10, 2011, 01:44 PM
Yusifer basically said it. Thanks. :d

And while I get where you're coming from, Fallen, a server's GRF still isn't my responsibility. I will go after anyone who decides to steal my sprites, but poking through a server's GRF isn't the only way to obtain files. I've seen people give away sprites that were meant to be exclusive to their friends, or pawned them off to other server owners, stuck them in a .rar and shared them with everyone on eA, etc. People need to be responsible and I expect as much from anyone who uses and has purchased my sprites (you are obligated to abide by my terms of use after all). It's more a loss for me if I were to give discounts to those with GRF encryption because I already give loads of discounts and freebies without anyone having to ask.

GRF encryption should be a given. It's not my fault when a sever owner decides to be irresponsible. I'm certainly not going to pay for someone's data encryption (which is basically what you're asking of me even if that wasn't your intention).

Ooorrrr you could learn (if you dont know anyways) how to do it, and add it as another option when buying an item, more profit for you.

Maybe sometime in the future I'll dig someone up who knows how to encrypt grfs properly and we'll do a co-business type of deal where people can get discounts if they purchase a certain number of my sprites along with the grf encryption. But in the meantime, this is just the way it is. =|

Puffy, you need to fix your site, sometimes I can't navigate it (links aren't actually links) or it redirects to a "link broken" page on Wix.
Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Gaypuff on Sep 17, 2011, 01:08 PM
Some links don't work (collection art, concept art, loading screens, sprite gal and stories) since I didn't put them up yet, but I just went through the rest, they work fine. Is your flash player fully updated? Which pages didn't work for you?

--Either way I'll be getting a domain shortly, so no more flash. =x Should be easier.
Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Usagimimi on Sep 17, 2011, 11:10 PM
When I click "Headgears" sometimes Wix tells me it's not a real page.

And the links that aren't really "links" (because nothing's in it yet) don't do it for me. It just pretends like I didn't do anything.
Title: Re: SpriteTemp
Post by: Gaypuff on Sep 18, 2011, 12:49 AM
I've honestly never had that problem though. I check all pages for errors after every update and they've always worked. It could be your browser, could be wix being a **** at the time, could be your flash player also being a ****. I have no idea. ]= Sorry for the trouble though. In retrospect, going with all flash might not have been such a great idea.

You can make the purchases while I'm offline. Plenty of people do it. You'll receive the files too, like everyone else (usually within 24 hours). There have been absolutely no complaints about not receiving any files, so there's no reason to fret.

I do understand your worry though, I just wish you'd understand that I'm busy with a lot of things. I can't always drop everything at a moment's notice to get on MSN and converse with all the customers who have added me and want to talk about their requests and ideas. I take off certain days to do just that (and yes, the moment I get online I get bombarded with IMs, which is just fine, but not when I'm working, hence why I usually reserve special days to talk to people).

If you need me to be there while you make the purchase, that's okay and I'd be happy to oblige, but it will have to wait until we're both online at the same time. Which doesn't seem to happen very often; Every time I do get on MSN, you're offline.

That said, I have a feeling that a lot of the messages left on MSN don't actually go through. You'd have better luck e-mailing me. I check my e-mail more often than anything else.

Edit: Also, Chem. Sorry. ]= <3 I've been dealing with a lot of personal issues too. Just. Bleh. I'll get on MSN and talk to you when I'm feeling less like buttz. xD

Dude where are you? Your MIA.

Have you tried contacting him VIA EMAIL.  His EMAIL. Not here on RMS?
I haven't personally talked to him in a little bit as well, but I do know he's been sick and really busy.

If you haven't tried contacting him by email, I would give that a shot instead of leaving him offlines on MSN, if that's what you do, or by posting here on RMS.

just send him a message through rms and on his email, itll appear that he got a message.

I really don't think e-mailing me will be necessary, when I've explained to you before, Pelshee, why sometimes I get so busy that I've no time for spiriting.

That said, I'm still fairly occupied IRL. Sick relatives trump all, I'm afraid.

General notice:

Due to certain individuals refusing to give information that is actually necessary for both your and my protection, I have updated my Terms of Use accordingly. You can review the changes here: http://pixeljubilee.com/terms/ (http://pixeljubilee.com/terms/) -- See #9.

To clarify, I keep track of all servers that have permission to use my sprites.
I don't always send cease and desist letters, which means that if I find a server that [as far as I know] is using my sprites without permission, I can and will go to your host directly, resulting in the possible removal of your server and/or website.

To avoid that, all I ask is the name of your server. That's it. If you don't even after I've asked, you will be the one to take responsibility for all issues that might arise. Meaning, if a server gets removed, it'll be your fault.

So do us both a favour and just give me the name of your server when you make a purchase. I really don't think it's necessary to have to ask the same question over and over.
