Alright, first of all, I would like to point out that there are two TwistROs out

I informed the server owner of the first website that his name was already taken by another server. He didn't seem to care.

Thats obviously plagarism seeing how TwistRO stole it from EssenceRO and just edited a few things. I know this server isn't opened yet, but it is being advertised, not on RMS, but on other places so I find that this is a perfectly legitimate report.

There is no such thing as "name stealing".  You can call Peter and someone else can be Peter too, it works the same way with server names.

Essentially, all servers are a rip off of one another.
New servers are made, through the ideals and thoughts of another player who didn't agree or like on a previous server they were on.

They are made by the individuals thoughts and views, and made to their liking. Creativity and RO is like watered down beer. You can say what you want, but you're still running plain old RO.

Ideas are taken, rules are taken, content is taken, concepts are taken. Everything gets taken when someone makes a new server. And when it's taken, the new owner improves on what they think is "best."

So it can't be a rip off, when everything else and everyone else is doing the exact same thing.

I don't support theft, nor do I disprove it. It's just all ideas come from somewhere, and on RO. It comes from other people. Like chain mail spam.

Server theft/Creativity theft is something of the Norm with RO. I figured people would be used to it by now.

rofl well say one server gets some bad reputation such as being corrpput or whatever, i feel bad for the other with same name XD, if there is no rule, maybe there should be? to protect each servers reputation either good or bad?

I kind of agree. While it isn't stealing, it could hurt a legit servers status if a server shows up with the same name and has a bad reputation.
