i haven't seen the aerogaming site with the features Luna said was taken from her site, but i do find it suspicious that the server is extremely bland... this is what i mean:
in the picture, my cursor was in the 3rd "_" ... i cant make the cursor appear in the pic... sorry, but check the lower left hand of the window
why do i find it suspicious? I find that a website wouldn't be "put up" if it was THAT empty. No design whatsoever, and the buttons are hard to find... unless somehow the "source" of the pics and the like were hastily removed, or "wrong linked" (hey i made some HTML based websites in high school, so i have some idea how websites works). Also, would someone really put up a site that doesn't have images but has a BGM (Prontera BGM)? a bit weird right?
The website they stole from us is back online if anyone would like to see it!
I also spoke with the admin and server owner today, and he told me to "be considerate" and that he had paid Adam the "WEB DESIGNER WINKWINKNUDGENUDGE" $60 to put up that webpage!
We also have tons of screenies of their flubups, like leaving charmro in the source code and the rules and whatnot. =D

However, I still tried to search how I can contact Charm-RO's staff and talk about the problem since Luna is like ignoring me and suddenly I found Lex staff of Charm-RO. I apologize and had discuss about the problem, I ask him to wait, and obviously I have to talk to Adam too but he was still offline till now. Unfortunately, they can't wait and trying to ruin my server via redirecting my site to their site. What I meant is we can talk about this in a right way but you start the mess with me.

haha yea I see both websites and I do think its pretty much the same as Charm's... except for the annoying BGM that probably can't be turned off (note: not pointing at aeRO Gaming... I really just find the BGM from RO to be annoying most of the time... and I don't really remember the last time I had the BGM of the game on because it was THAT long already)

As to the issue of a chargeback, I believe oLex has already advised him to the validity of that route but he seemed to just turn a blind-eye when she said it (Through an MSN conversation, by the by, so the rubbish about not being able to contact anyone was long taken care of). To the best of my knowledge, no proof at all of any transaction having taken place with regards to aeRO and this... Adam... has been provided. It is, of course, abundantly interesting that an attempt to communicate through MSN only took place after a small change to the Javascript code hosted by CharmRO was changed and a certain other site was rendered useless.
I've already spoken with the GMs at Charm extensively and there is nothing I can say here that no one else hasn't already said. Just be aware, a deadline was given and further action will be taken by Charm unless aeRO removes the content on their site so let no one say fair warning, deserved or otherwise, was not given.. (No affiliation to Charm here, just helping them out because I've had experience in this).

That may be true, however, the layout was completed about two weeks ago. Maybe more. Having to change a layout every two weeks because someone jacked it isn't fair.
The website was obviously taken from Charm, I can see plenty of indications that it was besides the fact that the Purchase button is pathetically edited by someone who clearly doesn't know how to do things properly. The fact that the
Javascript was hotlinked from CharmRO's site was an obvious indication that something was wrong and when a change was made, it was made on Charm's original file. By hotlinking, you were stealing bandwidth from another site. You say we were stealing 'players' through making an edit on
our own file, but I think you'll find that bandwidth theft is a far more serious issue.
Aerogaming, at least have the courtesy to take down the site, get your charge back and find a 'web designer' with some
integrity, which the person you 'hired' is clearly lacking in. You're the only one stealing in this situation... and stealing in more than one way.
Clean your act up.(Also, I had to join to praise Gorthex's use of theiving plonker. +1 to you, sir.)
Sorry for my late response. I was at work, and then when I got home, my lovely internet wasn't working. I had the joy of reading this thread from my phone.
Lex says she has talked to Adrian (aero admin) on msn and she has chatlogs of where he refuses to take my layout down (or something like that).
I was IP banned from their website (I can see them now, since my IP changed from my internet being down, and now up, and unplugging & plugging of the router), there's no need to lie about that, and the only reason Adrian wants to talk to me now is because I threatened to contact his webhost in one of my posts on his forums.
Once Lex wakes up and sends the chatlogs over, I will post them for our amusement. :)

MY work and charged you for it? I put hours into that site. I would blow off someone stealing my work every now and then but stealing my work and getting paid for it pisses me off.
Especially when they charged you twice as much as I charged Luna. I'm slightly annoyed and Luna has the right to be pissed off. I'm sorry Adam ripped you off and seemed like a legitimate designer but Luna is not at fault here. I understand if you didn't know that the website design belongs to CharmRO but it does. I have the original .PSD files and all the proof since I designed the original myself. Also redirecting your server to CharmRO is more than enough proof that it is stolen. The site was redirected because your site was linking to a script on CharmRO's website.

When I handed the .PSD file over to Luna I gave her full right to edit the design as she pleases but as you can see there's pieces from the original design that she kept.
Although I'm flattered that you like the website. An artist is extremely offended when their work is stolen or used without permission.
Luna, simply change your website's .js file to another name
and make a .js to replace it loading porn to replace all files on their site.

I did that yesterday zone, It redirected to my website, but then they deleted the script from their coding.

Although I don't support spamming someone else's forum, I do believe that there was more than enough time to have the website layout and the other contents from CharmRO taken down. There's an overwhelming amount of proof that many things from your server were stolen from CharmRO. I'm not angry at the entire server or the GM team, but I am angry at whoever stole all of this work. It's really damaging to know that we work so hard to put things together only to have them stolen later on. Please consider hiring a more experienced and trustworthy team next time you put a server together. That way we won't have any more issues like this.
I do hope whoever stole the website and all of the other contents from CharmRO does pay you back all the money you paid them if any. I wish the best of luck to both servers now that this issue seems to be somewhat resolved.

There's a reason I didn't give them my phone number; I'm not the original artist so I can't technically claim that they were stolen from *me*.
However, I can point out that they WERE stolen from that website and have the PROOF to do so.

Also, in accordance to their ToS, I'm not an "authorized person" to act on behalf of InfinityRO, therefore, I can't technically, submit a DCMA claim against them, however, if I had, I would've already had them removed by now.

From page 9 to 11 all the assumptions are negative. That's enough. Nobody know what's the story from the point the site changed to the Infinity RO layout. 2 pages of that discussion is more than enough.
