Title: Creative Editing: Reading Tarot Cards
Post by: bleu on Jul 09, 2009, 10:34 AM
Reading Tarot Cards
I made my first Clown recently and I had much difficulty interpreting what each card do just by look at the pictures. Everyone knows "Death card" causes Coma. But what about others - it's just too much to remember (don't play Clown as my main just casually). Non-Clown and Non-Gypsy could also benefit by reading their own fate.

1. Download and install the necessary programs below:

Download Free RAR Extract Frog (http://www.philipp-winterberg.com/software/free_rar_extract_frog.php)

2. Download the Tarot card from any of the followings:

uploading.com (http://uploading.com/files/6N6X0E1A/tarotdes.rar) (Mirror 1)
Rapidshare (http://rapidshare.com/files/255323422/tarotdes.rar) (Mirror 2)

For information on the full description of each Tarot card, click here. (http://irowiki.org/wiki/Tarot_Card_of_Fate)

3. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the data folder is in the same directory as your RO
Create the following folder:
C:\Gravity\RO\data\texture\effects

4. Copy the extracted files and paste them in the newly created folder.

5. FINITO! Just load RO and be able to read Tarot Cards. Please note that these changes will affect your screen only and other players will not be able to see them.

Another great modification, bleu.  This'll be very handy for those new to the Clown class.

Awesome idea.

I had them all memorised like.. 5 minutes into Gypsy.
But considering how often I use them, and get people going.. "What does that one do?".. XD

Just something, you can't ever see the "Wheel of Destiny" Card, as far as I know, as soon you cast it, other two cards appear over it

Great modification tho!

Yeah. And you only see one of those two cards, anyway, most of the time. =P

does tarot work on monsters/mvp's?
So you decided to bump every thread in the guide section, some even a year old with short messages that I assume just translate into "I'll post something pointless to increase my post count"

Don't beat around the bush on this one, it's too obvious.

7 day warn for spam and necroposting.
