What? NEW CLASSES?

Heya people of RMS. Me and some of my friends have just under an year before our lives will be busy again. So we decided hey! lets play some RO together just like back in high school!

Since there are apparently a new set of classes built on top of the existing one. (we stopped playing shortly after ninjas and soul-dualboxers came out)
and from my experience, Trans classes kinda ruined the pvp balance and made pvp more of a 1 button spam (funny how that works huh)
But it was okay since the expansion areas like the undead island place and magma dungeon were quite fun to roll around with a group of friends (Courtesy of magical strings and soul exchange)


So hows the balance for the new classes? Is it more faceroll like WoW? or did the new classes make pvp more fun. instead of oh.... this soullinked - SinX just jumped out and killed our party of 4 in 3 seconds.

Hard to explain since They haven't really/fully come out its still in testing(e.i. KroRenwal)
But some servers have implemented the 3rd class's onto their servers giving a taste of what its like.
I cant really tell you a lot since i haven't maxed on kro yet(132). But so far it seems as if instead of trying to unbalance things there trying to  balance it out. But it there still trying to improve on that.

Agreed. Find a server without them untill the Renewal system is properly implemented on official servers.

Sorry, but judging a server on the basis that they have 3rd jobs and that they suck is not valid.
There are various little "sayings" I could say but it boils down to 1 point: which servers are and aren't lazy.

Some servers don't do it because they lack the technical knowledge to actually fix or solve their problems with the 3rd jobs since they are so buggy. Instead, they cop out saying that they'd "rather wait until eAthena does it".

Yet, they are more than capable of developing their own custom content but can't be bothered to actually do the 3rd jobs? Right.

I'd rather have the latest and greatest, especailly if I have the technical knowledge and/or skills that can make it happen. I think that any other server admin would think likewise, and can almost be assured that those who don't, can't.

Not all servers are as broken as 3CeAM is, so its unfair to say that all servers that have 3rd jobs suck.

I know, for a fact, Chosen is one of the most balanced servers with 3rd jobs: my players have told me so and I've yet to see one that is both stable & balanced. (As of currently, we have a 15 day uptime which means 6 WoE sessions have occured, in addition to day-to-day playing).

I'm kinda lazy private server-wise, but Intense pulls me back as they are one of the best servers in handling the 3rd jobs.

It's the braindead server developers that think adding them in equals quality, which in turn, creates poor quality.

I have yet to see a server that has fully emulated Renewal game mechanics. Until that's actually done, 3rd jobs are either overpowered or custom. And in 90% of the cases they are just using the 3CeAM project.
