I remember way back in the day when, iro had an Iris, and 99 second job was the epitome of power. There was a guild that went by the name "Aco Alliance" their emblem was a little blue gem. After many years of quitting and returning to RO both the official and private servers. This guild above others aside from the great ones have been in stays firmly imprinted in my memory, mostly for being so dam unique. It was a pure acolyte guild! That's right monks and priests ONLY!!!! o_O I don't think they ever got a castle, but I do remember they were a pain in the butt to fight definitely not a foe to be underestimated.
So anyways I was just wondering if any has ever tried something like this, I think it would be hilarious especially an all thief class guild.

Makes sense actually. We have kikoolol champs (that's what we call them in our serv) who asu then alt+F4 and the guild is getting bigger and bigger. Ya know what, one day they might get a castle.
On Pinoy server, maybe they can. But on a high-tier WoE server, their hopes getting a castle is the same as the chance of a MvP drops card.
Our Woes aren't especially impressive - I managed to get to the emp room several times with a non-guilded SL even if sometimes people did have a go at me. I wasn't potting either so yeah, go figure. Then again SLs aren't a big threat but I think that letting any non-guilded char go to the emp room is a mistake, even if did end up getting killed. Not wanting to pick a fight in a corridor is understandable but giving a free pass to random people is kind of stupid. Our WOEs are getting better but it's nothing fantastic.

Well I think it depends on your goals, if it's to take and keep a castle then you don't stand a snowballs chance in hell with a champ guild. However if its your intention to annoy, or work as sort of hired mercenaries then you could be very successful indeed. :p But alas people don't do fun stupid things any more to much ego invested in WOE I guess.
As for an all SinX guild and or all thief guild I think you might actually be able to pull off getting a castle if, even in a server where people Know what they're doing so long as the population is under 300. You could take advantage of other guilds fighting to infiltrate, all stealthy like. You'd have to try in the last 10-5 minutes of WOE to hopefully, take it at the last minute, cause stalker precast just ain't as good the real thing. lol
Yeah champs breaking an emp is lame. Just about any other DD char would do better esp because if they asu / alt F4 how can they get to the emp room?! I suppose that a Sin X guild could do well, I have a friend who has GR (0.05 drop some ppl are lucky) and ice pick + valk armor and he tanks pretty darn well. Actually I could see a WS guild work too, w/ ele convos, upped giganto axe/ ice pick/valk/hockey mask and so on. A WS is deadly if well taken care of (equips etc) and less complicated to play than a Sin X.
All champ guild are owning but you cannot break the emp easily. I prefer all sinx guild because they can easily break emp and they are also for PVP
All champ guilds are fail lol. Might as well just pvp

A Taiwanese guild a while back ran an all Lord Knight guild with about 30 Lord Knights, they were wrecking things.
I formed once a guild full of ninjas, NinjaCool. PvP and Hangout Group. Pretty much good fellows in the guild.
