Well I play female, and would rather shoot myself then play a male sprite ;p  ( no offense guys XD )

Either way,  guy playing female sprite... They are easily spotted usually...  They have the "lazy typing" style,  example:  "plz, plox, thx, k,  u,  2,  4" "hi how r u 2day ?  plz giv zeny"  Generally they do it for free items... or to put on a ruse to date 'other people' get them to trust them, then scam them/steal their accounts,  or in some cases sexual purposes. 

Battle.net was filled with people that the community came to know as "Shims" ( she + him ) they weren't transsexual they just abused the female status and they generally used multiple accounts...  which made them easy to prove they were someone else.  Because when you squelch ( ignore ) an account, a red X shows up on that person's name and ANY other account that that person's IP is running.

Most shims are explicitly sexual,  they do not hide it and generally are perverted.. have little morals... and are disgusting really :|

Agreed....Thats meesed up. That does happen and its really pathetic that they do that stuff. But i don't think there are that many "shims' out there in RO....i found that the reason many guys play female characters was while they're playing they'd rather be looking at female sprites for those hours of grind lol....kinda wierd yes but it doesn't mean they are bad ppl or "shims"

When you're not grinding, that's the problem, you're walking though Pront and think "God I look so dumb".
