the server i play in has a weird economy. it is a low rate server. tharas, marcs, raydrics, hydras and the basic WoE cards have a higher drop rate than the normal server rates so they dont sell for much (800k~3kk?). farming mavkas and peach trees are also bad, witherless roses now go for 9k to npc and crystal mirror is about 2k or so? royal jellies.. i dont even know but it got nerfed too. so how can i make money in this server? it seems geffenia, hill winds or sleepers are my only options (or mvp which i dont want to do). hill winds are a bit on the slow side and geffenia requires a lot of preparation (geff quest, ice pick, WS) to be efficient. sleepers seem pretty good, but i dont feel like making a monk to hunt them. any other ideas on where to make money? or can someone convince me these areas still arent too bad to farm? i prefer a constant flow of money (usually stuff u can overprice to npc.. vending works too). elus are also nerfed cuz raydrics have higher drop. also, what class should i make to farm on this monster(s)?

Interesting server indeed... any possible chance if you tell us what this server is so we can look at the custom changes to help you better?

For starters, even if mavka is nerfed, selling cakes from babayaga still shouldn't be too bad so it's still at least passable or still above average for the meantime. Scaling back to Les you got aloe leaflet, which prices may fluctuate if you vend to players depending on what's the WoE situation there as they are great healing for their weight. You can also consider the usual poison bottle or brewing materials that should sell to other players. If you got a character who can mob, you can also do magma dungeon 2 which actually got great etc loot to sell to NPC. If that's bit too difficult, can scale it back slightly to geffen dungeon with doppelganger in it and mob nightmares for blue herbs, blue potions and infiltrators. Other mobs on that floor got reasonable etc items to sell too. Rachel Sanctuary 1 or Hodremlin mobbing are also decent choices (hodremlin also got starsand to go with the selling brewing items thing too). Depending on your server's economy and if you got a sin/sinx, then grimtooth acidus can be a risky gamble if the stone buckers can pay off all the SP items consumed there (I find stone buckler price to vary dramatically in servers... depending on how overshadowed they are by the valk shield or not.) Haven't tried this one myself, but I heard that only-average geared ninja (or anyone who can keep them at range, melee maybe iffy x_x) can surprisingly handle splendide field 2 pretty well against pingu and luciola. Sprint ring may sell pretty well if they are kept to have cast delay -5% instead of +5%, and their exp isn't bad at all either.

And of course, MVPing and selling MVP gears is always an option there.

^what she said...

and really imho peach trees are always good because they drop DBs which grants you easy access to rarer mobs and makes fun times for your party /ok;

oh and not many people realize this, but desert wolves are good money imho. They drop stilettos at a fair right and sells for some fast cash easily.

And depending on the rates you could always hunt ygg berries and seeds... easy creatures such as alligators are a good choice...

Pretty sure that'd be EternityRO.

indeed it is eternity ro.

maybe i would like to hunt rare items, as long as they are worth it. i'd say something worth 10~20mil with a good spawn and isnt too hard to kill might be worth it. btw, ive checked the farming spots u listed. i think sleepers might still be the best way to earn money tho. thanks tho, you've given me a variety of places i could go.

any other spots i could try that wud be more efficient?

Gankz

I made a sleeper monk after hunting 2 peco eggs, a 3 slot chain, a skel worker card (heightened drop rate), and a porcellio card (put it in a mantle)

Get the monk to 80 and get 9x str and you can make tons of cash off sleepers.

wireless

Anolian skin, antelope horn, sharp leaf, yggdrasil seed, starsand are all pretty good  ;D

ShadowSappy

You can always do a Hunter, 80 dex, 60 agi or so, fire arrows, spam Enchanted Peach Trees in gon_dun and then sell the royal jellies.

someone didn't read the first post...

anyway Bathories are always good... the card is probably the most useful elemental card after ED and starsands are always needed for slim whites...

and really alligators are good; ygg seeds are always good to have...

Hi I'm the player that said Ninja could work against Pingui and Luciola.  I did it with a magical type ninja wearing the Ninja Suit and Shinobi Sash combo.  As long as you can keep your cicada skin and soul up you should be okay.  If you can eventually get a vitata clip out there that will help you out without using so many pots.  Oh, also take lots of fly wings if you get stuck in a corner or can't quite handle the Luciolas.  Pinguicula Corsage and Rope of Unbalance hopefully will sell on your server to some extent at least.
Use Dragon Fire Formation after you mob about 3-7 Pinguiculas and make sure to keep field control+mob control on them by using Crimson Fire Formation.  You may sometimes finish Pinguiculas off by using Crimson Fire Blossom.

Before hitting the Splendide fields make sure you are 80+.  I also recommend before that leveling your ninja from about 60 or 70 to 80 at Rachel Sanctuary.  There you'll need lots of green pots+fly wings to deal with the mute so and teleporting if Hodremlins become too much of a problem.

Aaronock, did you make a ninja in our beloved server?

should i make one too? /hmm;
can that tactic be replicated for tatachos?
what about them hill lions?

i reckon cornuses are just too meh to bother with?

undercover

bot for zeny you can get like 20 marc cards in 1 day with 1 char down there (they go between 2-3m)

I have a Ninja on our server dude, but you can't do the splendide farming as well since Pingui is Holy 1.  Well...I guess you can do it but not nearly as quickly.  This is the main reason I haven't taken ninja to Splendide honestly.  I wish we had default Splendide+Manuk on our server sometimes, I find it a lot more fun and fast paced honestly.

I would say not to do the Splendide field with Hill Lions as the Naga's Waterball will probably always kill you even with water armor on....and Hill Lions on our server are mini bosses, they will ride right on through your Crimson Fire Formations.

I couldn't test if I could handle Manuk, though the Nepenthes make you move around too much while wearing Cicada, so I admit I didn't go far to test.  It might be doable if you get a priest who can pneuma at least! XD
I forget the Mdef of Tatacho on our server Wira, so you might have to check that first, however they have like 30k hp and it'll take a bit to knock them down probably unlike Pinguicula and her 13k or so.

Edit: Cornus are Holy 4, you can't even probably damage them well with a ninja.  Take a WS or LK, or Asura Champ to kick the pants off of those unicorns.

Sarin

Oh btw...since Cornus have Heal and Reflect, I found that best way to kill those is aspd sniper with archer card combo...gives decent Coma chance on brute mobs.

Best way to kill those is with a creator. They can one shot them and they can resell the soft feathers.
