you saw the title, while i was searching the subreddit it has turned into a private community. does anyone know the reason why?

It has gone private in protest of Reddit's recent behavior, open disdain for their userbase, and planned changes to the API, which will be heavily impacting third party tools, accessibility and moderation ability. Join requests will not be handled/answered.

Hmm, wow just checked, a couple of groups I joined are now not showing up on my list.
