Your thoughts and experience are very insightful and I can totally understand why you feel that way because I was addited to the game as well.
However I don't completely agree on people saying that it's his fault alone. I mean of course it depends on each of us if we lack self control and become addicted but we should also consider, that Gravity and any company that create mmos are fully aware of the fact that these games are highly addictive. The whole system consisting of low rates, incredibly low Mvp card drops, Pvp, prolonged headgear quests etc adress a very natural aspect of human nature which is competition and the wish to be acknowledged by others. Of course we can say that the whole entertainment industry aims at keeping their customers as long as possible (every company does), but mmos just hit a very vulnerbale point of human nature and it needs a lot of self control to not fall for it.
I'm not saying that these companies are to be blamed if our lives aren't successful because ultimately it depends on ourselves but maybe we should be aware, that these companies have their own goals and we need to be careful of our surroundings and what we are offered. Everything has to be consumed with caution.
Sorry for my bad english, I just wanted to voice my opinion on this matter and maybe help people.  /ok

You know, just saying, there can be a healthy balance between fun (RO) and real life. If you got yourself into a hole over pixelated imaginary stuff, then maybe you should see a counselor or something. :p
