Have a lot of people in the area, the damage is evenly divided between characters.

Or run away, preferably to other map.

All in all though, it's stupidly overpowered skill which really breaks MVPing.

I wouldn't call it stupid.

Gravity saw that their MVP, creatures meant to be killed by a party, were soloable and they made a change to prevent that.

Oh right. People soloing MVPs with special MVP builds spending several million zeny of buffs/pots in the process. We wouldn't want that to happen.

Honestly, its not that terrible, just get some anti-earthquake gear like ghostring.

I remember Doddler doing a pretty long rant on Earthquake and new MVPs boosts in general, and most of it seemed quite right to me. The MVPs get cool new skills and stat boosts(Or decreases like Vit to reduce AD damage har har), but their loot doesn't change. They still drop the same old stuff which was hardly worth it before they were made into serial rapists.

I mean when was the last time you killed Baphomet? Why would anyone even bother? You probably won't survive Earthquake even with several people in the party, and if you run away he heals himeslf with Lv. 11 Heal like, every second. And that's not even mentioning his other overpowered skills: Level 20 Brandish Spear, Level 20 LoV... and all that for what? A spear with 30% crit rate? Please...

Ok, so maybe not all mvp needed this kinda "boost", but the newest ones, I'm all for it.

well recently theres been the creator mushroom nerf.... BECAUSE
the amount of players/enemy's on the MvP's screen will reduce the amount of damage that earthquake causes.....

creators use to summon tons of mushrooms all around to reduce the damage it does.......



you could also just try to avoid the skill completely by moving off screen or teleporting when they go to use earthquake
