[Non-Renewal] Shield/Armor card question

Hello guys,

I'm a new player and have a question about armor/shield dmg reduction cards.  For example if i got an armor with pasana and go fight kahos (fire property/demon race) , will it reduce their normal attacks or just their skill attacks? Also. let's say i got a Khalitzburg card on my shield (reduce dmg from demon) will that card reduce normal attacks, skill attacks, or both?

I think it goes like this nowadays [someone correct me if I'm wrong, I don't play the game for ages]:
- Non-Renewal
- Renewal

Usually, if the server isn't edited/customized, it's:
- Monsters normal attacks are non-elemental but considered Neutral for Deviling/Raydric/Nox and other possible garment/shield cards
- Monster skills have element
- Players attacks and skills have an element but depends on what they use -- gear and buffs -- [examples: - Asura is always neutral, Bowling Bash can be endowed to be fire, Holy Cross is always Holy, etc.]
