Ragnarok_RE.exe crashes after patching

So, before the 7-28 update, I was able to patch my clients just fine. Now, when I try to patch up Ragnarok_RE.exe to 7-28 it crashes just before finishing and nothing gets patched. My ragnarok client patches up okay, though. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

I've tried it a couple of different times. I even tried reinstalling RO completely. :/

Edit: Just noticed I posted into the wrong forum. That's what I get for posting so early in the morning. Would be nice if a mod could move it to the correct forum. ><

Well somehow it's strange. I wanted to play a RO server again so I downloaded the latest files on the RMS page. The one that doesn't require installation. Extracting worked fine and stuff but when I tried to patch Ragnarok RE it first errored and when I tried updating again it automatically links me to the kRO website and the patcher closes. So I can't patch in the first place. Any ideas how to fix it? :X

xyuki, your's didn't even start patching and just start out errored?

I tried to patch and it worked just fine except there's no more button under the patcher (i think that is just my screwed data folder or w/e folder that has those button).  I can still exit the patcher by clicking the empty space that used to be the exit button.

Well at first when I extracted all the files I patched Ragnarok. That worked fine. Aftewards I tried patching Ragnarok RE and it did start patching but after it would actually be done I suddenly got an error message. Since partly the patch did work I got the Patchup RE additonally to the normal Ragnarok RE patcher. But if I try patching Ragnarok RE either by using the patcher of the same name or Patchup RE the patcher directly closes and I get linked to the kRO website.
Also I know I am not the only one with this problem two of my friends have the same problem somehow. ><

So basically Ragnarok RE is not patched at all.

In this case, I see they have a newer exe released.  Try download and install it in your ro directory replacing some of the files:
