If you play recall stalker, you have remove trap instead of Full Divestment (Or Weapon divest) and even if you have it, champions have a lot of dex so you can't be sure that Divest will suceed and if not, there is a little delay after it and you will get asura.

Depends what kind of e-call Stalker you play.  Yes, some do the less-stealthy Remove Trap method but the best ones do the Agi/Vit/Int method and simply eat up the traps as quickly as possible and then e-call on the emp without the enemy guild even knowing a Stalker had gotten by their precast.

Explanation.

1.  Agi: higher agi results in less time spent being trapped
2.  Vit: obvious reasons
3.  Int: gives you more MDEF thus making heavens drive casted by low-int support professors miss
'effective now, ***** is butthurt because his server sucks without competent players to make things interesting'

Yes, its one of possibilities, I prefer to play dex vit int stalker w/ remove trap because of ChaseWalk's Cast

@Rudolph - Your equipment listings -are- good, but yeah the slightest survival you can achieve with a risk is "Strip Weapon" (Or Full Strip, assuming your server didn't touch the aftercast delay on that one.) That way his Asura will damage lesser than the usual.

Another side note... careful when engaging to melee the Champ. Either he just instantly Asura your sexy donkeh, or Blade Stop you. A quick initiate of Backslide (towards the enemy), Strip, Backslide (against the enemy). If stripped, nail the Champ with your skills, if not, repeat.

Chase Walk can be your friend here just in case you get a bit stuck, but if your Dex doesn't allow you to instantly cast Chase Walk, do a very quick Hide-Unhide-Backslide. Don't use Hide for too long or right next to the Champ, and always keep a safe distance.

A rather facepalm attempt is to disable the Champ with arrows (assuming it's lazy to use Pneuma) , or have a weapon with disabling cards then have a Bongun Card (acc.) then Preserved Skill : Bash. (Yeah, not a popular copied skill xD) Bash away until he's disabled (the Bongun Card will shove him 5 cells away giving you space) then he's your biyash.

Good luck and sorry for the tl;dr.
