I'm a lvl55 swordman about to do my job change. Should I be a knight or crusader? What fields do they excel on? with is best for mvp and pvp (trans classes)? explain.

In general:

Knights
More 1 on 1 based, only one element (neutral). Seems better for mvps but requires a party or a lot of healing items.

Crusaders
Good at support, area effect killer skill (Grand Cross) perfect for grinding niffleheim (fast leveling), a bit higher defense thanks to shield, additional elemental attacks (holy). Grand Cross can own if you have a decent dex (at least 60~70) but their main strenght is sacrifice which is a must have for woe and party pvps.

Lord Knight (great as a... first line meat?)
Spiral Pierce - nice skill if you would have a heavy spear, if enemy is in a safety wall than Spiral Pierce in the face or if in Pneuma than other atacks; strong 1 on 1 attacks; frenzy (it's an advantage only if used properly); Aura Blade vs enemies defense.

Paladins (great for support)
Great support - lots of hp + sacrifice + heal + defensive aura + holy cross + guard + reflect damage (as a crusader you would have problems with getting enough skill points to get all useful skills); nice damage - martyrs reckoning and shield chain; still faster levelers thanks to GC.

Both classes are mostly based on high vit and str, especially in pvp and woe.

Since alot of people are using elemental props on weps and armours these days LK is sort of disadvantaged against say a pally. i personally would go for crussader since they have holy and shield skills and can be either support or offfensive, mob training or single training.

knights are alright but they lack the edge in terms of elemental attacks (crusader has holy cross and GC) but they do have some useful skills of thier own like sprial pierce etc...
In Memory of AnimaRO...

May it's legacy live on in AnthemRO!

Pally all the way!!

mvp wise, lk
pvp wise, pally
lvling wise, they are both not bad

but pally got bigger pecos! looks more buff and most importantly, they can heal.

Both are good to go. Both take hard work to get better at. I believe that Knights have better crowd control with bowling bash and brandish spear, as opposed to Grand Cross and Magnum Break. Just to let you know, Paladin skills might be a bit more sp consuming for the damage as opposed to Lord Knights. As for the MvPing, Lord Knights are seen more than Paladins MvPing. Spiral Pierce + Bowling Bash, Brandish Spear, or even Pierce. Paladins have a bit of harder time. Grand Crossing, Shield Chain, and Martyr's Reckoning are going to be annoying to pull off.

Paladins have an easier time over Lord Knights in PvP, but that doesn't mean Lord Knights can do better themselves when it comes down to just making the right decisions for skills. If you feel like spamming more moves per SP, Paladin. If you want damage at a faster rate, go Lord Knight.
