How is Atroce Blade the 'best' (or even a good) weapon for LK?

I've been reading some random guides and discussions, and I noticed that occasionally someone would recommend Atroce Blade.

I mean the 1% armour breaking is... nice. And the 10% crit is meh, but how is it better than a good old fashioned +10 Tribloodyboned Katana or an Executioner in ANY way?

Maybe for crit build, otherwise just as a general PvM weapon...it's quite good in it because you can get large numbers of them (people are farming Atroce a lot for Ulle's cap) so you can get high refine. But speaking of damage, +10 tri bloody boned katana will outdamage even +10 bloody Atroce blade in PvP.

Yes, don't confuse PvM/levelling weapons with PvP gear. If I had to get quad-carded weapons for every area I level/grind items in, I'd get nowhere.

mmm like the other's said, i know lots of people that use it for PvM
but i don't know anyone that uses it for WoE or PvP
