Author Topic: Why does item defense differ from the database to the game?  (Read 1166 times)

For example, a muffler in the ratemyserver database says defense 2.  While in the game, its actual defense is 8.  All of the armor ites are like that.  Why is that?  How can I find the true defense of something outside the game?

Because Muffler's defense IS 2. Maybe you're thinking of Renewal (if that's even right..)

Because there is only one set of translation files out there that is being updated.  Means non-renewal server using the translated files carelessly will show all the latest stats for all items on the server.

If you suspect the description is wrong, just put the item on and off to confirm it yourself. Def 2 is pre-renewal, Def 8 is renewal.
