Unlike any other RO-voting sites, RMS requires members of the private servers to write reviews. This allows more in-depth details on why people should/shouldn't join a particular server.
And if it is justify, people can write a bad (yet honest) review, so it's like a "reverse vote"'

You can vote once every 3 months, but it deletes your last vote.

In a round about way, thats basically what it is.

Sadly, bad reviews also count towards what we see as "Review Rank".. I think that should be fixed.

huh? old reviews are not deleted. The default display show review and count review score from the last six months. Reviews older the six months can be seen if you choose a different display style. They are not deleted. If you want to make a new review for the same server you will have to delete your previous review for the server before you can write a new one.

Thats what I mean. The number doesnt go up, so it is a form of voting.. I guess.. but when you "vote" (Make a review), you delete your old one, so you can't (vote) twice without your last one needing to be removed. I just worded it weirdly.

In a round-about way, reviews are considered "votes" by servers.. because the more "votes" .ahem.. "reviews" you get, good or bad, reflects positively on your POSITION in the list. I don't know of very many people who read all 100-200+ reviews in order to decide.. most people just see whats on the list and pick one of the tops.

So in essence, it's like Voting.. only your vote gets deleted when you vote a second time.

To echo what's been said already, RMS is not your typical RO server voting website. Instead, we allow users to rate, advertise, discuss, seek & review servers.

If you're wishing to review/rate your server, simply click HERE, then enter the name of your server in the search box to find your servers' review/rating page. It should be pretty straight forward after that.
