So I have decided to cure my addiction to Ragnarok with finding a private server to play on. Here are my reqs.

needs:
Rates: rates between 1x-25x
Renewal + 3rd classes
no donation currency ( this is a must)

Wants:
Minimal customs (must not have better bonuses then items already in the game) I dont mind customs if there are , just not obnoxious wings and bulky headgear.
For everything to be close to Iro/Kro as possible.


Im moveable on some of the points above but not the Donation currency. I don't want to have to pay for some premium BS or others to get an advantage on me because they can throw $$ away. I'll just go back and deal with Iro, isn't that really why we made private servers in the first place was to not have to deal with payments and pay2win marketing?

Im crossing my fingers for 3rd class or a server that plans to implement. a Pre-renewal server would be last resort but would be taken under suggestion.

We are Renewal, and have 3rd classes implemented
While we do have a donation currency, it is also available via voting and -numerous- other in game means (via conversion, or different rates for event rewards points). Additionally, donation items are not game-breaking, feel free to check out what's available here.
We have about 35 active players (not including vendors) at any given time.

Customs that we have are almost always costumes, with no wings or gigantic headgears. (We do have the one pair of official wings - Great Angel Wings)

I have looked at casual RO and I say no.

The donation currency is something I will not move on. If I want to deal with lag, premium accounts and cash shops Ill just go back to Iro...

Seriously these types of servers are so hard to find and i honestly find them way more fun than the trans 99 >_> Damn.. and yeah CasualRO just wasn't for me either, I'd probably also make a server but... hey I'm a mac user so its nearly impossible for me. /sigh

Just download a preset rathena with the features you want or have someone config it the way you want. You can get hosting for a server of this size with less than $10 a month.

Or learn to deal with donations.

To find a Good Server without Donations will be hard get a Server who you can Donate Gold Coins and Find them from Monster. So it's fair if you want to get some items
faster donate if you want to farm a bit Farm.

TBH, I don't really care much about donation currency but....finding a server with 10+ ppl thats semi new and between 50x - 150x rates with 3rd jobs is kinda hard. xD

If you're looking for a decent and professional Renewal RO server, I suggest looking into ROgasm!

It pretty much matches your needs!

20+ population of ACTIVE players. | ROgasm had a peak of 11 yesterday and it's growing easily. Keep in mind that is a LR server and those tend to build up a bigger community more slowly than those a dime a dozen MRs you always see (which mostly only last for a month or two).

I too would like to recommend ROgasm, yes it has a cash shop, but it is still a brand new server and the admin is very open to suggestions, so essentially anything that is in the cash shop that you dislike can most likely be changed and or removed.

The one server I found AvalancheRO that was perfect, doesn't have the cash shop but nothing gets done, the GM's don't really care...

Hi Sadmoto,

I would like to suggest our Server that has opened 3days ago. we have a cash shop though. our cash points are ONLY obtainable in-game through an Automated Event and everything else is obtainable via quests and stuff. there are no donations yet but rest assured that the donations won't be anything that can not be obtained via quests/monster drops. You don't need $$$$$$ to win.

We are running on a Full Renewal Mechanics Engine and being updated as much as possible like kRO, we have spent months before we launched the server.
We have a small community for the moment but we are aiming to have a stable community and economy. the Only customs we have are the official items that we put slots on, other than that there are none.

Our Rates are 120x Exp 120x Job Custom Drop Rates with MVP cards drops at 1% Max.
and yes, Our Server won't close in 2months because we want it to stay for as long as there are supporters.
The Staff Listens to every player and we do care a lot about our community even though it is small.
