Seeking Heavily Customized Pre-Renewal Mid Rate with Third Jobs

-Pre-Renewal mob spawns, aspd, and cast time
-Third Jobs
-Heavily Customized
-120~150x base/job rates floating or custom rates are preferable over this.
-120~170 max base/stat or unlimited.
-Custom Classes, Mobs, dungeons, races, factions, maps the more = better
-Active GMs
-limited to no donates
servers I liked:

EssenceRO (first year)
MouRO
CorrosiveGames
MesaRO


servers I disliked:
vanilla servers
renewal servers
servers that believe that focusing on getting as close to kRO/Gravity as possible is a good thing.


I'm willing to play high rates or low rates if they are heavily customized and such, but no promises.

After looking at your requirements, I think SpectrumRO (http://www.spectrum-ro.net) would be a good fit for you.

We're a high rate pre-renewal server with in-depth customizations to the gameplay mechanics expand the meta game. You can see all of our changes here: https://spectrum-ro.net/forum/index.php?/forum/14-changelog-and-updates/

We have not yet implemented Third Jobs as they are hilariously overpowered and unbalanced. We are keeping them in the back of our minds for now, and are considering adding them in the future (whether the entire classes, adding some of their skills to their 2-x versions, or a hybird of some sorts).

Our donations have no impact on the overall game; nothing is imbalanced, and donation items are in no way required to reach end game.

Some of our GMs came from EssenceRO (Our admin was the leader of EssenceRO's most successful guilds) and have built the server to reflect some of its better qualities.

Our server is anything but Vanilla RO. Please check us out.

I don't like high rates. I think I mentioned that. I did try out your server. I killed five starter monsters and was like...70 so yea no. Not my thing. I understand some people like to level fast, but I ---don't.

The actual customization I did look through. I looked through all of them. I didn't play long enough to see whether any of them made sense, but just reading through them it was quite a lot of changes and I liked that part..shame the rates are so high.  I notice SHR and high rates tend to be more customized than MR and LR --- maybe it's because people get bored? LR players should really hop on the custom train, realize the freedom of private servers or play officials instead of trying to BE officials. Sorry, #rant. 

As a note to spectrumRO staff and mildly offtopic, I'd like to say that if you don't have third jobs because they're overpowered/imbalanced then that's incorrect thinking imo. You could try adjusting the classes like you adjusted every other class and then release them. That's what I'd do, at least.

ps. I should also mention that I dislike any aspd over 192 because of hitlock. I've found that with multihit attacks even at 190 you can get hitlock, so the lower the max aspd the better.


[EDIT] Apparently, I did NOT mention that I don't like high rates. I said I'd be willing to try them no promises. Let me emphasize the no promises part again ^^;;. The rates I listed are my ideal rates for a server. I like 150x . It has a good feel to it. 10x is good if I want to do LR or 99/70 server, but since even 99/70 isn't 99/70 anymore ...yea. ~120-170x

Although leveling to 70 doesn't take much time, going to full 190 take a few hours depending on your gear and ability. This goes hand in hand with your comment about high rates being more customized; Non-intensive grinding allows for players to focus on the metagame. If it takes a long time to get maxed out, and then even longer to reach end game, players often get overwhelmed and give up due to the discrepancy between old and new players. We're glad you liked our customizations though.

For the 3rd classes, right now we haven't seen anyone really implement them in a pre-renewal setting properly. 3rd classes were made for renewal specifically; all of the renewal mechanics changes are what allowed 3rd classes to be viable. In a pre-renewable setting, too many changes have to be made to accommodate gameplay balance while phasing in 3rd classes. Basically we would have to re-balance everything we re-balanced in order to make it work -- and even then there's no real guarantee. We would have to nerf 3rd classes a lot, which would also decrease their feasibility; why would a player want to go through all the work for a 3rd class if its sublime? Most 3rd class jobs don't offer much improvements from their 2nd counterparts in a pre-renewal setting. But like I said, it's a work in progress. We do want to see 3rd classes phased in to some degree as it expands the metagame, but we don't want to half-donkey it and implement a broken model that just breaks the game.
