NOTE: THIS REVIEW WAS WRITTEN 2 WEEKS AGO AND SAVED IN MY NOTEPAD PROGRAM SO IT MAY EB A BIT OUT-OF-DATE.


  I played this server for a while and eventually left a couple weeks ago.  Gonna do basically the RMS mainsite review sorta thing, and add in some sections maybe.

Stability 7/10:  Kinda laggy at times, I'm in MST, using broadband cable internet, and I have 2 gigs of RAM.  basically a pimpin computer. All my browser's and server's etc. work fine, but this server in particular seems to be laggy.

Availability 10/10:  Down once in 3 weeks for maint or something? pretty good.

Community 8/10:  Pretty nice. PvP especially since no one trash talks or b**** and moans here

Eventfullness 1/10:  Like every server, 0 player held events   why is this even in the criteria since rarely any servers have player held events O_o I wont even count this in my final score...??

GM Friendlieness 9/10:  Never really had any GM's be rude, sometimes it takes a whielf or them to respond even when they are not afk.  I really didnt like how scars asked My brother satan to change his server review after satan rated the server as a 60-somethin.  he told em hscars didnt threaten him or anythign, but he didnt wanna find out what scars would do if he had refused.

GM Availibility: 8/10 usually a GM online

GM Helpfulness:  7/10 sometimes you get help from a different player BEFORE the GM even responds, eut when they do respond they're can usually answer all your questions.

GM selection process:  Scars flirts with practically evry girl, and then generally those girls he who flirts with the most end up as GM's very soon after.  Not to say they aren't good GM's, but I've seen people with much more potential and the attitude to GM on the server.  I've seen long time players who were perfect for a GM position have their resumes ignored, and then someone whos been there 2 days with little knowledge about the server get accepted as a GM.  Satan could use a (expensive) translator for like 30 languages, had been playing for years, and had been on the server for a while, and had never lost temper or patience (as far as I've seen or heard O_o), had even been a forum mod, and his application was totally ignored til like 3 weeks after he left.  Some other long time player who was definitely qualified for the job had his ignored as well.  In those times I know of 3 GM's, all girls, relatively new to the server, who had been hired.

Economy 5/10:  Kinda crappy.  Shops have underpriced customs and MVP cards.  Zeny isnt worth very much IMO dude to all of the customs and the easy gold farming. plus the population isnt that high right now

Guild Competition 4/10:  I woed once about 2 months ago.  I saw one other person.  i never WOEd again. population increased a bit so I'm sure WOE is better but... meh

Class Balance 3/10:  All skills are spammable.  Stalkers can copy skills such as AD and Sac.  Theres no HP limit(as far as I know)  Ever been sacced for 999,999 by a stalekr with a bow who just berserked?  whilst wearing ghostring?  its not a pretty sight...  The customs only worsen this 'balance'.  +30 to stats etc.

The donations make eveyrthign 10x worse.  +60 to stats, immunity to conditions with armors.  Insanely overpowered donation weapons.  Sure the uber hard custom quest items could  almost compete with the donates, but the donates were still much better than the quest items.  even with a full enchanted valk set you would get owned big time.  And most of the hard quests required you to buy lotto balls form the pvp rewarder.  you egt pvp points by killing people in pvp.  which if you're not a donater or you dont save up form events until you have enough OPB's to get at least 5 lotto 3's, you can kiss those hard quests for OPed items goodbye.  Not to mention you can donate fr any MVP card.  Any quest item.  and any +40 jard.    I find the 'balance' here to be some of the worst due to the donates and, as the ad put it, 'helpful' customs.


This was my experience here.  And this was my opinion of the server.  before you call me a lazy noob who did not try, I did try.  I tried fcking hard.  I made full enchanted valk set, that sword guardian item or w/e the hell its called, and several other hard mother fcking quests.  It got me no where vs. donaters   itried my best to perfect my builds and improve myself in pvp.  It still got me no where vs donaters(and poorly geared sac stalkers -_-)

Fact: We have 150+ players at all time and over 200+ at high peak and still growing. (Including vendors, if you may like to add)

I believe people won't play in a server with severe latency.
It is better now, if not I would have moved. For whats that worth.

Fact: We have one event at the very least every 5 hours.

I won't say you are lying, I assume you have been missing them, but my statement is fact.

I simply tell him the standard of score on ratemyserver, I did not tell him to change anything.
I am saying a good review on ratemyserver is 80 or above, average is 70 or above, anything under 70 considered to be bad.

That is the average, that is the standard, and that is why we are able to reply to review below 70 now.

Judging from your scoring I believe you understood that.

If he Satan has an issue, he is welcome to message me, it is between me and him and literally not your business even though you are his brother. But I doubt Satan even have any problem with me.

Oh yes I flirt all the time.
Do I get serious?
No.

Do I play with their feelings?
No.

Do I take affairs?
No.

I keep my personal and server/professional life as two separate things. I know when to stop, I never harass, I flirt for fun, and I don't even know if they are a real female or what is called a "cross dresser" and it doesn't matter. Its just for FUN.

Regarding recruitment, I personally find female to do a better job in "GMing" and "Socializing", as long as they are under control. One example would be, I find it easier to accept when a female said "I play ragnarok just to socialize and chat and I love helping people", when a guy say that I find it harder to accept. Or yes maybe because I am straight.

However there are male GMs in the team, and rank is ALWAYS base on loyalty, activeness, technical skill, and basically how much they contribute to the team. Note that Burn RO is not my only project in the table, who I recruit is not anyone else business, because they ALL will follow the rules, and ANYONE will be removed if they don't.

Most customs you can't buy, I am not sure what you trying to say, and yes economy will grow with players.

Did you went to the right castles? We have only 1 or 2 castle open each WoE, if you kill the emperium and it dissapears, you are in the wrong castle, doubt that happen though since it has 40m HP. People "Do" Woe.

Not 1 class dominates in Burn RO, sacrifice build is highly vulnerable to Thanatos card.

Fact: More then half of the people in top 10 PvP ladder never donated.
Fact2: Every donation item is obtainable in a sure way, not "if you really lucky"
Fact3: Every veteran players have a few donation items (some have more then donators), and most of them never donated.

We have easily obtainable accessories in game that are +35[1].
Lotto balls is not only from PvP shop, it can be bought for 50m each from players, obtainable from OPB.
MvP cards is 10% drop rate, and 2% in MvP room, very rarely people donate for MvP cards because they are easy to get. 

Again, this is your call, but surely many has disagree with you if you take a look at our reviews.

I just want to say, 3 weeks is a very short time, and from your statements it seems to me you don't know 1/2 the server. It is not fair to judge a server base on few hours of game play, if that is the case.

Anyway you made your review, I say my side of the story, I hope it can end here.
I have not flame or insult you once, I stick to the facts, I hope this won't go any further.
However if you claim any false statements I am forced to reply. So far it's still acceptable.

PLAYER held events.  I never classify GM events in 'eventfulness'.  I've onyl seena  couoples erver's where player's actually have lil events for other players. (such as spamming DB's, player-put-together pvp tournies.)

I originally had a thing about GM events, but it was rather insulting... (I got sick of the repetitive epic fail music squares, and hide and seek.  and I had a bit of flaming going on about the GM who spawned 3 dozen MVP's for an event)

I guess if I had to give it a score(form ym experience), it'd have to be 7 or 8/10.  simply because the events got real old real fast and I didnt see any spicing up

I remember holding events when I was a player.. never know that existed quite a bit.

I believe you haven't been to any of our scheduled events, and I wonder, have you ever played our famous "Run For your Life" event?

Anyway I'll keep it in mind and make sure some events don't get overused. Thanks for your opinion.

Hmmm, having played BurnRO very casually, I saw events being run quite a bit.  Now granted, I never went to any, but I saw them happening as GM's announced at least one every time I've actually gone on there. 

There are some semi automated events (that Survival one) and there are GM hosted ones.  Players hosting events...no idea. x)

MY biggest complaint with Burn is the lack of interesting stats in customs.  I just wish they did more than give +5 to all stats headgears with 3 slots when they are hard as heck to make when I could get the +30 stat ones with 3 slots with just a tiny bit more effort.  The +5 stat headgears should do other interesting things or something...I also hate how almost all the dang headgears and wings take like 10 or more Dyestuffs, I hated collecting those herbs =(

Then again, I admit some bias, I'm a fanatic of making items.  I like them to be entertaining and useful when I get them, not be mediocre or worse than the novice wings and skeggi hat you guys give us when we first start :3

The +10 stats wings, the +5/10 stats headgears, all of them are use as part of quest items for a better gear. Try visiting forum for full custom quests guides.
