Unforgotten RO - forget it!

Alright, so here goes. This is my first ever review on the forums and it has to be a bad one! Here I am searching for a new server to play on (after having been in RO for close to 3 years - public server inRO, qRO, nlRO and 20 others) and my friend tells me about this new server that seems to be good - unforgotten RO. Good, I say, lets go in. So, we do. All is fine for the first hour. And then, i get this doubt about the mvp card drop rates. So, what do I do? Ask the Admin who happens to be sitting in town chatting idly. So i approach him and ask him and he says '40%'. 'Sweet'. Later, i kill a few mobs without any cards coming in. In doubt, i try out @mi which puts the rates at 5%. I bring this to the admin's notice, who merely replies by asking me 'Where are you from?'. I stay silent and get a 'pinoy ka something something something?' (which someone else told me meant 'are u pinoy?'). I replied with a 'no' and continued telling him about how the @mi seemed to be giving erroneous figures (or, in the actual case, how it was right, and he was wrong). And what reply do i get? 'stfu donkey noob' (yes, he did say that, and i was like o.0 'did he just say that?'). But he wouldnt stop there, oh no. A few of them rally up (few meaning pretty much every single person on the server) and start trash talking me in their language (which i sadly dont understand). Eventually, it subsides with all of them spamming emotes and the admin says 'fakin nub get out of my moter fking server'. And POOF!, rag closes. I find out i've been booted. I go in to find out what in the blue blazes happened and i get a message saying ive been banned by the admin. I make a new ID but i still cant get in. Yay, my first ever IP ban!!!

So, that about wraps it up. I dont know if he got angry because i was not pinoy or because i was questioning the accuracy of his information, but either way, he got what he wanted. I left the "moter fking" server. And i just thought it would be peachy if i informed the rest of you how friendly the staff is. Especially the admin. So yeah, have fun.

I think I may log in and say "Hello" to the server admin one day, so when he starts, I can post screen shots.
I love seeing people post this info so I know which servers I should not join.

The control panel doesn't even have the rules. >.>
I agree to rule 1~5, no problem after all, I can cuss out the staff without breaking a rule, and I can surely ask about the rates without breaking a rule.

A link on the bottom for registering shows the scripter for the website didn't double check when he put http;//...

I will update this when I get on the server, I am leaving now to go to my other house in the next city over.

Well the server admin pmed me asking for my yahoo email and shiz.
I don't use yahoo. o.o;;
I suggested they fix their site, and get a spell check on the forums titles and descriptions.

Uh huh, he was nice to me in the beginning too when i asked about the rates. Only after the little bit about the rates being different did he start going weird. It was real fun seeing him go all 'I dont help people with non sense'

Just a quick word of warning :

Going to the servers to investigate is fine and so is going to ask a few questions.. but please do not go to a server to deliberately antagonize them. Baiting them for this kind of stuff isn't very professional conduct and could also land you in a lot of strife if somebody decides the try and get to you the same way. Not to mention I personally do not want to have to read another blow up thread about how 'single track minded' RMS people can be.

I am not saying don't do it, I'm just merely stating to not be so forthcoming with the "I'm going to go pay them a visit to post screenshots of them being complete twats" statements.

I actually laughed when I read the admin asking the question, 'Pinoy ka ba?" Being Filipino myself, I found that amusing in some weird way. Well, he acted in a rude manner though, which I found strange as the question asked was quite legit IMO.

Well, from my experience with that server, (forums only), the admin does seem a bit harsh, but the rest of the community loves me
