Server Stability: 10/10
The server -doesn't- crash. o_O It gets a bit laggy every once in a while, but that's because automatic updates starts @_@ [haet u windowz]

Server Availability: 10/10
The server is almost NEVER down. When it is, it's only down for a at most an hour.

Community Friendliness: 10/10
People come to the server and tell me horror stories about how rude people were on their old servers :x It makes me proud to be a part of the community when newbies arrive and go 'wow everyones so nice here' >w<~

Community Eventfulness: 10/10
We have many player-hosted events, like PVP tournies, dead branch parties, quiz events, poring arena, WoE [does this count? XD] and bingo! I don't know if this would be considered an event, but what about 'give lots of items to newbies'? We do that a lot. xD;
The GMs also hold many events, most of the time we have at least 2 a day.


GM Friendliness: 10/10
I think I'm a little biased about this one because I'm the head GM and Serenity[the admin and owner]'s assistant. ^^; I've asked some players in-game, and they all gave us a good rating! I try my best to be as friendly and fair as I can, no matter what.

GM Availability: 10/10
Ask my roommate, I don't sleep. XD I'm almost always in-game, and if I'm not, I'm always easily accessible. I have many messengers, including 2 on my phone so if anyone needs me, I'm always there.

GM Helpfulness:  10/10
I give this a 10 because if I don't know how to help you, I'll hunt down the other GM's and find you someone who can help you.

Economy: 10/10
We just put in a new vending area, and there's lots of useful things in there. Most players have at least a million zeny, but if you ever needed some zeny,[and asked politely without begging] most people would help you out.

Guild Competition: 9.5/10
There were many new guilds popping up within the past month and if you asked someone for an emp to make a guild, you would definitely get one. WoE is getting pretty intense, especially when a lot of people are on.

The final pro/con:
Pro: The GM team makes many custom NPCs to include headgears and other things that make the server 'custom'. We also don't use any large wing sprites, which I'm very happy about. 
Con: We need more people!

I changed my mind about this server.

First, it's look like is OUTdated... this server realy need an update ... for the information the panzer's uber bug is still here (look at panzer goblin monster).. it was an old ea glitch.

second,, the shotgun skill glitch with gunslinger is still present (you know where you can't use anyskilll related to shotgun.. with a shotgun).

the only good point i will send to this serv is the prison map... bring me back form episode 3.0 wizard leveling.

It must look rude, but is my opinion as general for this server, eathena as to many horrible glitch along some skill that playing on some server it making me feeling "im getting back to official".
Im seriously tired of buged skill in ea.. and the matter is.. they can fix thoses but they dont'..

About the comunity i don't agree, it look like (yea.. i never found anyserver with a kind comunity who can reply a question if they know)... is asked somethings with @main, but i got nothing).

I'm sorry you don't like it. :[ We aren't very outdated, we're in the process of releasing satan morroc and the dimensional gorge place as well as the endless tower since eA isn't going anywhere with it. We made a patch to fix a couple of ea's bugs but when we moved from sereon to a vps it disappeared. x.x The GH prison is custom, it's good for priest, sin, and wiz levleing.
There is a reason you didn't get an answer when you asked something on @main, we don't use it, we have megaphones. :x

I personally refuse to play anywhere else other then SeRO. Its the only Private Server with Great GM staff, Friendly people who are always active, and a great client. The server rarely lags in my opinion, and we rarely have any major glitches that cause us not to have fun. Were always coming up with new ideas for games, and contest, and events. The GMs are constantly online trying new things, playing with there legits to make everyone else know they are active, they also enjoy playing. If you just popped in to "TEST" the server and didn't stay very long to get to know us, then that is way you give us a low rating. We are a Diverse Equal Community for everyone. Also the problems you seemed to be having were due to the fact that you didn't read the forums, the web page, and other posts about in-game. To me sounds as if you had a "NOOB" issue, maybe you should reconsider your hobby!

Who were you in-game?

It's not i don't like it it just im seriously tired of all eathena server who don't try at least to work a little on some of them don't require to much editing skill bug (firepillar(bad controle, and you can't stack on one cell in ea), firewall (bad impact) , and storm gust (you can't do the advanced firegust technique (YES this tech is still possible with the new storm gust.. but stangely you can't in ea).
Thoses glitch slow down my leveling like hell. i can't do my leveling way with huge mob in rachel at med level beacause of the pillar glitch (this skill got a loot of change.. why gravity have to make crap with the game.. and why every gm server follow them ?><).
It may look rude but as an ro veteran im seriously tired of all the glitch, i know ea is an emulator but an emulator canot be perfect,  i don't really want to play on an emulated server if  the things come to affect our gameplay.
And official server are boring as hell now..(maybe i played to much on them..)
i know ea dev is making the best they can do.


Your gh prison is very close to the episode 3.0 one. there's just some change, monster where zombie prisoner, skeleton prisoner and injustice with their old stats (they where undead).

the walk speed idea is freaking good, i hate how the chars are slow in ro.. my grandma can run faster ><)

i see for the @main.

Despit the glitch and some cons, serenity is curently one of the best eathena server around
I will try to play a little more on this server. to see how the things come.

A yes.. this is a warning...the gm need to control something seriously , i found a "free money glitch" in few second just by looking into a store (npc).. im sure some people already exploited this.

Didn't the server crash for a whole day because the owner couldn't get the server working with the new eA configurations? =\

Ed: I'm not sure when you are talking about, the only time I can remember it going down for more then an hour was when Ancyler was changing IPs and didn't tell anyone about it. It was down for a day and a half and when it went up we had increased rates.

Is the same as all other server, player who are doing useless talking and ignoring others in town.
Getting item you need form B/T > seen to be hard as hell.

Gm here for one time.. seem to by smart, is the second time i saw this in a private server.. the first time was on 2003.

It make my lol'd... seriously ?.. where thoes people found thoses prize ?.. freya's shoes 15M ?..
in the shop area... there's like 20 merchant.. and 90% of them sell crap for owerprize (HI 1K meat ?).
No i only saw one private server with a devent economy.

Guild Competition: NA/10

The final pro/con:
Pro: awesome stability, fun to play, this server is in the third position of all the server i was on (tested around 300serv, an went seriously on 10)
Con: it seem there's no pro wizard on the serv(well i just saw one during all of my ro time..), and need a true economy.

Um...SerenityRO huh?

I play there. It is in my opinion..AMAZING!

Is it a challenge? Yes. The rates make it very challenging(10/10/8). But it is still fun because you can level to a decent level fairly easily and then be challenged to max!

Economy? The economy is balanced as it is with many servers. Veterans, smiths, insane item hunters, etc have loads of money. Newer players and classes where money making is difficult have moderate money(I play a knight and only recently hit 2million. @_@).

Community? Overall friendly. I am reading this thread and am amazed at what people are saying regarding our community. When I joined SeRO back in winter 07' I was greeted with "heys", "welcomes", "whats ups", and items + zeny. As far as the guild communities go they are excellent. I found that once you join a guild people are recognizing you more. And the @gstorage in ANY guild is full of useful items that usually are open game to anybody. And hell starting your own guild isn't hard. Anybody will throw an emperium your way if you ask. To those of you that said nobody talked to you in town...well maybe you got hit with a couple of our "grumpy gus" players. Yes we have sorted through most of them but a few remain. Overall there are waaaaay more positive players in our server. Community=win.

Customs? Holy S***. Quests, gears, donation, items, maps, monster spawns, and anything else you can think of. SeRO has loads of customs included(i believe) close to 50 customizations of the SeRO Helm donatable headgear. As well as the other donatable gears.

Stability? As far as I have seen(and this is almost a year's worth of playing) there is no lag. Zero. Yes the server has gone off line for a bit. But at most a day or two(and Serenity explained that). The most I have seen the server off line for is probably 20-25 minutes.

GM's? The current GM's are amazing. Serenity is heading the team wonderfully and has recently added new dungeons and dungeon levels. His personal assistant Mimi is back to being very active since her laptop is fixed. And GM Xegreny hosts events like its nobody's business! How many server's can boast that the server owner is actively playing and WoEing and partying with his community to help them(on a legit character of course)? I will be honest. Our GM team has gone through some rough times lately. But Serenity has finally fixed the situation. Currently I believe there are 4 GM spots. And that is quite enough. There is always one online. And they are always hosting events, coding new sprites/quests, or giving general help to players.

Server Eventfulness? There is always something happening at SeRO. Regardless of a GM being there or not. Verteran players are always hosting events like DB arenas,  and PVP for their items. If there isnt an EVENT by definition there is still soemthing going on. Examples are parties, hunts, MVP fun time, and many more.

Guild Competition? Intense. There may not be many big guilds in our server. But the ones that have expanded( Treachery, Onion, Unrequited, Die Schmeterage[spelling @_@], and Zodiac Braves) are always fiercly in competition during WoE. Castles are dropping by the second back and forth between guilds. And even if smaller guilds cannot keep up with this kind of action(such as mine xD) they are always helped by larger ones to get a castle and benefit the guild.

Overall? I love SeRO. It is byfar the best server I have experienced. I just do not think you can get that kind of close interaction with GM's, the owner, veterans, and new players alike anywhere else. Thus I would give SeRO a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999nine999999999 out of 100. Well because nobody is perfect. But damn this server is close.
