Ragnarok roleplayers have been looking for something like this all their lives, and here I am. Roleplay with excitement to play with friends and hardcore for veteran players, a sensational mix.

Ragnarok Roleplay Online is a brand new server focused on roleplay and hardcore mechanics.
The community is still small but is growing with each day I played.

They have a solid community of roleplayers who loves to build new aventures with new players. The roleplay is made IN-Game with lores made by characters themselves. You can travel to unknow places, find treasure chests or fight new creatures. It's all up to you and your roleplay group.

What If you don't want to roleplay and just want to enjoy the hardcore mechanics?
It's okay! Although we highly recommend doing roleplay with your friends It isn't obligatory to roleplay.


A. Base exp only comes with time playing, quest like job or with Leap of Fantasy (droped in treasure chests) .
B. Job exp can be obtained by killing monsters. Symbolizing the use and maturation of skills
C. If you die your character will be deleted and your itens dropped (Real Death). (Note: If you have the item "Guardian Angel" you'll only lose your items and not your character).
D. They have a Hungry system. This brings a greater reality to the game and the character, and also more challenges. If you Hungry speed will slow down and your mana will be consumed. Other systems as miner and fishing or use the fire pit is there too.
E. Equips can be obtained by monsters but it os VERY rare to drop. Treasure chests can drop all items of equipment in the game..
F. You can drop cards from monsters


The game goes up to lvl 99/50 base without transclass, with proper balances for the system. Characterizing itself as a hard classic server.

Everything can be achieved by playing, there is no form of pay to win.

The game has full PVM focus and has CUSTOMIZED WOE pvm events. It is very challenging, and very good to play with my friends. The inheritance system helps your dead character to leave items for the next ones to come.

This is really the server that needs support, it has an innovative approach, very different from everything I saw out there. It is not a server for players who want easy things, it is challenging and it is necessary to have completely different strategies than normal.

Another very positive point is that the accounts are made by request and interview, but it is very easy. This brings more security to players and control of the participating community and makes it easier to ban and deal with players who abuse illegal measures.

A final point is that all classes have important functions, this is insane as well. And it has support for playing on android too.

Sounds like a very unique server idea, at least for Ragnarok servers which have always lacked in forcing players to actually role-play together.
Sounds very appealing, although I'd have to learn more about how role-play is enforced here. I'd be disappointed if I joined and found most players to be simply grinding quests or whatever a "Leap of Fantasy" is for exp, instead of role-playing for exp.

Also, I don't mean to be condescending, but you're saying "no form of pay to win" while also saying players won't be subject to perma-death, only if they have a "Guardian Angel" item, which I'm guessing is bought with real money. That sounds like pay to win to me. Pay to not permanently die.

Otherwise it sounds great. Fantastic server idea here.

guardian angel gets in the game Normally And is account bound, you can't buy anything in the game for real money, no advantage is sold and everyone can have the same items. nothing is sold. whoever wants to make donations receives only one mount, which can be obtained by playing also and participates in a cosmetics draw.

most players do roleplay. roleplay players are rewarded with events reporting their adventures on discord.

I would like to have some more detailed and organized information about the server, do you mind telling me a few things?

* What is the exp rate for job level? As for the base level exp, how much time playing is needed to reach, lets say, lv 50? Or how much base exp do you get per hour/minute?
* What is the drop rate? You say that equipment is very hard to get, what does this mean, 1x rates? 0,5x rates? What about cards? What about other items?
* Treasure chests are mentioned a few times, but where and how can I find them, how rare are they?
* You say that all classes have important functions, does this mean they're customized? The server has edited skills?
* What is this woe pvm you talk about, how does it work?
* Does the server have other customizations? Are monsters the same as normal RO? Are they edited in any way: damage, health, defense, where they spawn, how much of them there are in a map, etc?
* Roleplaying wise, does the server have a lore that players have to fit their characters and writing in? If not, how is role playing cohesive? Are there lore events in game that demand player participation? Are there lore events on the server's forums or discord?Sorry for all the questions, but I'm really curious and afraid to invest my time in a bad project, even if it looks very promising. With that said, I'm looking forward to your answer, and quite possibly to joining the server and doing some hardcore roleplaying!

I am part of an RP guild on another server that is interested in this post. As a former server owner, I have a few questions though.
1. This is posted in the Server Reviews section. This implies that either the server is up and you are advertising your server or server idea and both imply this is in the wrong section.
2. The idea is solid, but if it is merely an idea then I think a post such as this promising so much is preemptive at best. If you do have a working server, I would be curious to know of a link to a working website (please refer to the post on how to make a failing RO pserver)
3. Permanent death is something that is very harsh and for an RP setting is problematic at best, same with hunger. You are not making an RP server, but a survival one. That is fine, just don't sell us a horse and call it a cow. In addition, I have tried to implement permadeath myself and come up with some issues in the past regarding interaction with the client. I am curious as to how you overcame them.
4. You waved a lot of vague positives, but have no definitive. On a server such as this, rates don't matter- but we do need an anchor as players. I would suggest at least a screenshot.
5.There are some clear grammatical errors which have me confused-
          F. You can drop cards from monsters - I can drop cards from monsters? I am not sure I understand.
          The game has full PVM focus and has CUSTOMIZED WOE pvm events- if the game has full pvm focus then what is a customized woe pvm event. Are you talking about world events?

You have security to keep people FROM joining the server. I would like to know more.
A final point is that all classes have important functions, this is insane as well- I'm not sure insane is what you meant. I would like to know what you meant. /no1
