[Man Of Emperium]

I am currently a player on LunarEclipseRO ("LERO"), a growing mid-rate server with a great staff and close-knit community. While the server hails from humble beginnings, the staff is actively involved in improving the server and balancing game mechanics in hopes that more players will find a home on LERO. The community oscillates between 15 and 50 players online at a given time, so if you're looking for good people on a server that's not too crowded, you'll definitely like it here.

Some information regarding the server's specifications:

Rates: 1000x/1000x/50x
Maxlevel: 255/70
Max aspd: 195, but some skills have their after-cast delay reduced or damage capped for balancing purposes.
WoE: Yes, 3 times a week with different castles each day (thus 1 WoE per week per castle).
PvP: There is a specific PvP map for you go-getters, and even a ranking system showing your kills/deaths!
Events: They occur pretty much daily, including normal activities (hide and seek, etc.) as well as creative new events (avoid the GM clone/musical chairs).

Other specifications:

Healer: Check.
Skill/Stat Resetters: Check.
Job Changer: Check.
Town and Dungeon Warper: Check.
Marriage System: Check.
MVP Arena: Check, but only some MVPs are available in the arena for balance purposes.
Skill Window: New stylized skill screen that allows you to see prerequisites and map out your skill choice!

Fun additions:

IRC: Even better – LERO offers an online imbedded chat program that allows you to connect with GMs and other players instantly.
Custom MVPs: Check.

Custom Items: Check. The server also encourages parity among players with custom quests that allow you to obtain almost all of the available donation items (a definite plus)! The staff also constantly balances custom items, so that newer players aren't left with the impression that veterans are OP.

This is not a review you poor excuse for an RMSer.  by posting your ADVERTISEMENT here, you make your server look like noobly.  Grats.  You sir fail extensively.

I don't have any awesome "u fail" comments or a clever picture to post in response to your post, mickiedeez, but I'm fairly certain that the information contained in my post doesn't fall into the realm of "advertisements" merely because it is detailed and professional. In fact, my post mirrors the information covered in http://www.ratemyserver.net/forum/server-reviews/lunereclipsero-review-from-an-indecisive-free-world-nut/0/, and that topic has enjoyed a long and healthy life (as it was not closed for the reason that you have stated).

I'm not about to pick any fights in a topic where I'm supporting a server I enjoy playing on, but if you're into that sort of thing, I'd be more than welcome to take off my kiddie gloves via PMs.

Btw, I'm not a staff member, if that wasn't pretty clear from my first post, which mentioned that I am merely a player. But I has gud engrish plz.

Not that what I have to say matters, however, knowing man of emperium as long as I have, this current law student has a habit of making extremely long clear and concise posts about everything.

Kind of annoying, but that's his charm I suppose.

In short, he's not advertising. Just trying to be thorough about a server he likes.

It doesn't help that it looks a bit like an advertisement, either.

Most reviews will continue to cover the specs that the RMS site has(Staff, Guild competition, Class Balance, et cetera). Might help to see how other reviews are done around this section(by other reviews I mean "good" ones).

I've been playing this server for about 2-3 weeks, LunarEclipseRO is certainly a server worth trying! It's "weird" in a good way with it's custom items, maps, and NPC's.

Good:
Minimal Lag. @commands are awesome. The GM's are pretty active, if you can't find them in game you can find them on the web-chat on the LeRO Website. Not only are they active but they work for player satisfaction! They highly appreciate player opinion whether it be criticism or new ideas on balancing the server. The custom quests are challenging which give the players something to work on and keep themselves occupied. Although the server may still have a minor imbalance, the GM's are trying their best to solve the problems (eg. recently modifying GTB/Maya Purple due to player demand). The server has a "Support Guild" for all those that need help answering questions about game mechanics or hunting spots. The players and GMs are very social and make you feel welcome. The drop rates are awesome because there's no item that drops at 100% which means a more challenging approach to farming certain items for quests. The custom NPC's and custom mobs are just plain weird (in a good way!) you could be hunting or walking through a town and see an NPC and be like "wth isn't that ____ LOL !!!". The events are fun and worth attending to because the prizes are to die for!

Bad:
The economy is not so good, but what do you expect from a new server with a small population? There was a time when gunslingers were so overpowered, one geared gunslinger could solo a whole guild of transcendants (resolved now). WoE being dominated by one guild only (The server needs more guilds to start competing in WoE !!!). Personally I think rates need to be slashed a tad bit, because getting to max level in less than 2 hours is a bit too fast for a mid-rate. The forums needs more forumers. The recent event that had just occurred has disappointed me, I hope the owner learns from it and continues to lead this server to greater heights !!!

Overall its a good server and certainly one to try out!

There is a difference between discussing the features, and listing them.  EDIT: no opinion was included in the listing of the features either.

I would like to add that I enjoy this serve very much.  The GM's are very active and try so very hard to see to the players needs without being bias.

Server admin cheated the RMS system by bribing(violating RMS rules), and then a player posted an advertisement in review section, violating rules, included a website address, violating another rule, and all the while a LunarEclipseRO staff member advocates all of this.

I think it's pretty obvious that "I enjoyed every aspect of it" is a statement of my opinion, akin to "I like X". Following your logic would require me to give an opinion about my own opinion. We can get into technicalities all you want, but that doesn't change how the review itself was reasonable on its face, as well as the fact that other legitimate reviews mirrored its structure. By the way, this review has also been up for quite some time, so the staff here doesn't seem to agree with your point either.

The LERO server owner made an innocent mistake by not reading the ToS prior to implementing a player incentive for reviewing the server on RMS. That has now been corrected, and the server has already served its penalty of a 2 week suspension on RMS. All I see now is mickiedeez attempting to vent his misguided frustration on LERO because of his reprimand earlier in this thread. Hilarious.

Mickiedeez, I want to clarify that we did not "cheat" like you have already said. I was not in control of the RMS listing we had so I could not see the terms and we did NOT "bribe" players in ANY way, we only asked the players to review(good or bad) so we could get better and then give them a pet so it would encourage others to review. Also do you have a life outside these forums? If not, if you have nothing good to say then don't say it at all.

Just a note: Insulting people doesn't make your server look too good. No hostility intended, but seeing that will drive people away from LunarEclipse just as a neglectful admin, corrupt GM, or mean community would. You are a representative of your server, I know it's hard but keeping your cool is the best thing you can do for yourself.
