DarkRO Rebirth - unbias review

used to be a good server on its 1st 2 months but the GM is getting greedier every month. Overpriced donations and a donation system that make people milking cows especially donation bonus pts items. End game items are easy to get. Useless Limited no stats addition "costumes" are more expensive than end game equips. GM refusing to implement new end game items because cant blame them, its much easier to create a new costume than implement a new item because they have to re-balance the server everytime but considering the donation they are receiving they should put more effort into the server. Last donation promo is you have to donate a minimum of 250 dollars to get a limited useless no stats costume. End game cards like thanatos and Lighthalzen cards are sold by GMs thru midman streamers, you cant get them with in-game currencies but you have to pay overpriced top-up donation to these GM midman to get them. Streamers have special perks than donators especially if they sell end game cards to players. Used to be at 8k players peak now those have declined by half. Top guilds have GMs playing in them. 100k cash pool event for guilds is rigged, guild-favored GMs are always on the top of the ladder. GMs also participating in in-game and forum events. Toxic trashtalking community, they will trashtalk you if you PK players, considering its a PK server. Real money trading is rampant, you can get more out of your money if you will just buy RMT, GMs are banning RMT but they are also might be involved too. BOTs are rampant in the server, and GMs cant do something about them. Gambling is acceptable to GMs and in-game and scammers are exploiting this to get easy money. So its a pretty f*** up server. Not for the faint of heart and not a newbie friendly server. I will edit or delete my post if these issues will be addressed but for now, this is how the server run.

afaik there has been a new darkro server every year with the same settings, same webpage for the last 3 servers at least, run by same admins for the last couple of years if not mistaken. so nothing new.

sadly the majority of the gaming community is toxic, not much that can be done about it. but sucks that it's like that.

3 years? more like 8 

I've seen probably seen a DarkRO spinoff rise and die at least 7 times in the last 12 years.. some people don't care about their progress and money being erased a year later.
