It's been ages since we ran an event such as this, however, we need your feedback!

By submitting a review to the RMS (Rate My Server) listing for SerenityRO or by posting a testimonial here on our feedback forum, you will be entered to win one of the following fabulous prizes!

- 1x SeRO Valkyrie Helm
- 1x Premium Cart
- 1x Serenity's Blessing [1]
- 1x Naoro's Wrath [1]
- 1x Angel Wing Ears [1]
- 1x Evil Wing Ears [1]
- 1x Celebration Ring
- 1x Sleipnir

Rules for this event are simple: We just want your honest opinion of the server!

Everyone is welcome to participate, however, please do not create multiple accounts in order to increase your chances of winning!

Additionally, if you only do one of the two, you will receive ONE ticket in the raffle, however, if you do both an RMS rating AND a testimonial, you will receive FIVE tickets into the raffle!

You may only win ONCE in this event, however, this is a promotional event targeted towards gaining more exposure to the world of private RO servers.

This event will end September 28th, 2007, and winners will be announced at the end of September, shortly after the event ends.

As St. Serenity said, this is an event being held for people to write their thoughts and opinions on the server, whether good or bad! We want to know how people feel about the server and ways we can improve it, such as when someone says, "Oh the economy could use a fixup but otherwise it's great!" We know what to work on to improve SerenityRO. In a way by posting their thoughts and ideas, the people who write these reviews deserve something in helping us see what we can improve. And it does not say "The best one wins" It's a raffle, pure and simple.

As far as I'm concerned i don't see anything wrong with this. Besides we're not giving EVERYONE items for reviews. Only a select few will win, not everyone. They will be entered in a raffle, and the only way they qualify is by submitting a long truethful statement, not. (OMG 10 out of 10 serenityro rocks!) Even bad reviews are welcome. Hence the truthful part of this event.

So please grow up from your spite, just because you have a server of your own. Yes we know who you are.

Saki: Obviously you won't see any harm in this. And it's not spite, it's trying to get people to follow the rules. Knowing who i am doesn't change any of this either, so it was a wasted remark

Serenity: I like having things from servers delivered to my email address, it means i don't have to logon to forums all the time to check up on what's going on in servers that i play. Granted i haven't been on SeRO for a few weeks, but still.

You will maintain good sportsmanship:

    * Server owners caught providing incentives to their players for reviews of their servers (no matter good or bad) will have their servers suspended from the listing.

Still looks like an incentive to me.

St. Serenity: If item is in fact given out then you are providing incentives and as per the rule says, the listing has to be suspended.  So now you a choice, retract the gifts/event/statement and of course I will need to delete the reviews generated in the time frame to be fair.  Or ... I will have to do as the rule and suspend the listing.  Gotta be fair as this has happened before to other servers.

A bit busy today, I will deal with this later.

Many server has done this? Well if i dont get a report how would i know?

Server Suspended, no hard feelings.  We are just doing our job and enforcing rules.

Locking topic to prevent further flames.  Feel free to pm me if you have anything more to add.

It was a fair decision and I do not recall any report of Euphro that wasn't dealt with properly unless it was not reported at all or the rule page were of the very old version which includes many loopholes. 

RMS is not in any way bias towards large servers or any servers, simply take a look at the ratings of certain large servers and you will see there is no exceptions.

Okay, I take that as you made up your mind and no further investigation needed. 
A suspension notice will follow.

Reports are always based on facts and proof given. 
This time, no doubt that your server broke the rule since you admitted it
anyway and is refusing to take action to abide by the rule. 
I did offer you a choice before it's too late.

There was in fact an event samiliar to your case regarding CanadianCow's server
(I believe that is EuhpRO?).  He was having an event of this sort and upon noticing of his
action I sent him a pm stating that his event is breaking the rule and he replied to me that
he overlooked the rule page and will stop the event immediately.  Some reviews were removed
but as far as I remember the impact was low because the report was made early in the event.

We are based on an honor system.  We don't have the resources to actively go out to the
hundreds of server and look for cheaters everyday.  If you would like to report any servers,
please feel free to submit URL, newsletter or screenshots that proof your claim.
