I 1337 that (second that, third that; the list goes on). Sad thing that happened to the server, but what's done is done. The moderators respond a bit slower to Soap Opera threads... so got to wait for them on this I guess.
I would agree that if you are busy with your studies, you shouldn't host a server or at least let someone take care of it in your stead during the busy time. If nobody can care for the server, the server would obviously die like in this case ><. Whether the server should have started in the first place, I am not sure. I mean, every moment counts right? Would you regret playing the server and not know/make new friends on this server, or would you just think of it as a nice experience and be glad to have the opportunity? This just depends on the players' perspectives. Half-full or half-empty, you decide.
I don't think the person did it for the money though (my opinion anyways) in this case. People just start up servers for fun most of the time. It's sad that some people open servers just to earn money. Not like you can earn much money with RO in the first place since it's quite limited.
Well, I hope that perhaps when people are not so busy... they can host it again. If not, I hope the players find a good server to stay at.
I believe people are done saying what they want to say about VastRO anyways.

I think he meant the study overload came after he already started the server. Anyway, I dont think we can acuse him of leaving Vast, he has all the rights to do so. =0
I just think he could have passed the responsibility to someone else instead of closing the server straight.

Hm, as for the study overload, that could be expected if you are in university? I doubt people could have focused if they're maintaining the server and doing university homework/studying. Maybe as a GM it's possible, but as an Admin... The server wasn't even online for that long as well, right? Well, anyways, it's just a sad thing that the server is closed. It was doing pretty well.
