lol there will almost always be corruption in RO and lots of other things because ppl can call corruption anything from a GM telling a player that he/she likes that player too a GM giving out god items
in short theres no sure way make a 100% non-corrupt server the best you can do is make sure your GMs no how to make it appear that its not because about 50% of all corruption usually starts out with a pissed off player who starts rumors and then the servers start to go down hill and the GMs stop caring about there reputation
as for servers like euphRO where it was the GMs fault that really its something that is totally up to the GMs if they want to go out that way or not

so i voted for euphRO where it was the GMs fault cause he had a choice wat to do with the donation money

What the hell is the definition of corrupt?  Does it involve running a server the way it isn't supposed to be ran?  Is there actually a ruleset that governs how people should run the servers?  If there is, why are there always so much more players on these "corrupt" servers than these "non-corrupt" servers.  Someone please help me because i'm not really understanding this topic.

I voted for CorruptRO as the name makes it more corrupt than the rest for some reason.  I can't quite put my finger on it.  Maybe it's because it contains a double r's in its name.

As for the EuphRO article... $250,000 to $500,000 a year, that's pretty outrageous. If my server was making that much money, I don't know what to do with that much.

i played animaro for about a year and it was fun i found heeps of good pple but then Saint Serenity told me the things going "bihind the sceans" and then he black talon and GM calbee attacked it like changing every1s password to 12345 and then they created a server called TalonRO or somthing

AnimaRO was one of the greatest server's out there until a death happened and control was changed now its completely corrupt! Also theres only 4 to choose.

It doesn't matters what a server's admin does with donation money as long as the server still runs smoothly and gets its required maintenances and upgrades. Many servers are run as investments with admins anticipating income through donations; and really who could blame them when they're the ones who made the effort to start the server. Moreover, some servers even mention in their donation pages that donations may be used for personal means. Just because a server takes donations and the admins might use some of it for another purpose than the server does not make the server corrupt.

On the other hand if a GM is giving preferential treatment to players or creating an imbalance with the game play in any way then that server is truly corrupt. This includes creating items for players, ignoring harmful bugs, enforcing rules inconsistently, or banning and censoring people unfairly.

Anima was not always pure corruption. When did you play?

It was always corrupted,  I was there since the server barely had 100 average players...  It was even created by someone who was part of another corrupted server "uRO".

Edit:  As for the servers listed clearly there are alot of other more corrupted servers out there, AnimaRO being #1.  Speaking of AnimaRO,  TalonRO should be right next to it  like  AnimaRO/TalonRO, since they are virtually the same server with similar staff >.>  ( not sure if talonRO still lives on, quite frankly i dont care =3 )

dont put talon with anima, just cuz they got same donations doesnt mean the server is the same.

yeah talon simply split away from anima with the same DB and made his own, 100% unrelated to each other
