So, how's FeelRO?
« on: Jul 15, 2008, 01:10 am »
After some time of general RO inactivity, I decided I'm coming back - and there I see this promising server, with nice rates, a thousand of online players and an attempt at balacing this completely messed-up MMORPG. Their forums are cute too. But... it seems nobody's written a review, or rarely said anything about it. This is strange.
So, how's FeelRO? How, as in... is it way too much customized? Did the balance thing really work out? Are the GMs nice? Is it worth to spend time there?
How would you describe FeelRO?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I firmly believe is isn't.
Have a nice day (or night, depending on when and where you are).

Best way to find out is by joining the server. Personal opinion over anothers.

I used to play Feel RO, it's alright.. And they do make an effort to balance things, they reduced edp damage and acid demo damage, so.. :P

im playing feelro right now.  its good except for an obvious imbalance... custom headgears that give 15% demi defence +5 vita slotted, slotted helm +4 all stats, slotted lower headgear

and they nerf EDP and AD in woe.........

uber gay, makes no logical sense, but other than that, one of the bigger, growing, younger servers, very worth playing, i love it.

Because everyone QQ'd because FallenAngels had like 3-4 creators online during WoE almost all the time, and there were no other big guilds to compete against them. And because Acid Demo items were so easily obtained, they decided to nerf the damage. :/

I'd personally recommend it.  Over the last year or so, my interest in RO died out completely.. that was til I found FeelRO.  When I first joined 3 months ago, the max population was around 300+.  Now, it has peaked over 1300, which just shows that the GMs are doing something right with this server.  I'll post up a full review of FeelRO shortly when I get time.

It's actually somewhat decent.  The economy suffers a bit from the fact that donation items sell real well and are kinda imbalanced a bit for the rates....they aren't what I would call perfectly balanced, especially for how much they cost >__>

To be honest I don't like their Non-donation way of getting the items that they have set up either.  They have 2 voting sites that you can do every 12 hours each.  1 vote for each is 1 token and it takes like a ton of tokens to get a helm. 250 I believe. for 1 helmet.  Tou get 2 every 12 hours, so good luck getting those without having to pay for them in-game or with your real money -.-

As for the rest of it, I can't really say much.  I have only played casually to level 95 blacksmith so far.  Doubt I will continue playing there, as I'm comfortable with where I am playing currently.  The community is somewhat close minded though.  They won't say anything to new people without you saying anything first.

Also another thing is from what I gathered, they have taken all new cards (vanberk, isilla, ice titan) and a couple mvp cards out of the game in the sake of balance.  I can understand that to be honest, a few of the cards in the game are gamebreaking.  Though I think giving them significant drawbacks is often enough of for some of the cards.

All in all though it's a solid server with a healthy population so I say you should play there.
