after talking with serveral people, ive decided to make this post to get even more peoples opinions.

"What Rates Would You Class A Mid Rate And A High Rate As?"

alot of people ive asked this question to have said:

"they catagorize the servers wrong"
"mid rate should be 25x-300x"
"mid rate should be 25x-500x"
"low rate should be 1x-50x"
"High rate should be 1k -10k"
and so on.

what this post is about, is YOUR opinions on it.

Do you think the server catagories are set right? rate wise?

*Personally, i agree with the people ive talked to. i think low rate should be 1x-50x, mid rate 50x-500x and high rate being 500x-10k (SRH 10k+)*
just seems like a really tiny jump between mid rate and low rate

I remember the Yare days when 20x was considered medium rates, and 100x was already high T_T

I don't really have a solution.

But I think the problem is that there is a huge difference between 5x and 20x, and a huge difference between 30x and 200x.  I guess in my mind, I consider something like this:

Lowrates
A = 1x-15x
B = 20x-30x

Midrates
A = 35x-50x
B = 55x-100x
C = 100x-300x

Highrates
A = 300x-500x
B = 500x-1,000x

Superhighrates
A = 1,000x-5,000x
B = 5,000x-10,000x

Crazy
10,000x and up.

SHR 10000x+

mid = 25 - 250
high = 250 - 2500
super high = 2500 - 25000
insane = 25000+

I have two opinions, either:

1)Low, 1 - 10
Anything higher is higher is high rates, mid rate is rubbish, just high rate in disguise to seem less cheap.

2)Low <1 (There are free official servers with less than 1 rates)
Normal 1
High >1

SLR: 0.1x ~ 0.4x
Low: 0.5x ~ 10000x
Mid: 10001x ~ 20000x
High: 20001x ~ 100000x
SHR: Any higher than High Rate.

imo,

LR = 1x-10x
MR = 11x-25x
HR = 25x-100x
SHR = 101x-whateversx


I think that although the ranking is all opinion, the people who play in those rate ranges would know best what rate they are. For example, I'm a low rate player for life and I know that most people who play on a 3x server would never consider a 25x rate as "low rate". Some even tell me that 10x is way too high.
