TalonRO - High GM's spread hate messages about veteran player on IRC

Gathering loose pieces of forum posts, IRC chat and ingame screenshots to make a flaming topic about a server is the way to go so it seems.

You clearly do not know the reason why she was fired (unless you are Seri).

We have decided to not comment on her posts anymore as all she does is backfire it and use it as fuel for more flaming material. That is also the reason GM Boreas deleted a couple of his replies. He decided it was not worth arguing with her and to leave it be.

Not going to argue about this here either so this is my only post. Nor am I going to explain the whole story as that is simply not of anyone's business. She was fired from the GM team for valid reasons and is, almost a year after it happened, still bothering us about it.

Players and angry ex-GMs like to make things look worse than they in fact are. A topic like this is a perfect example.

So have you or the GM team spread any hate messages about the player in question recently? Or is it a lie made up by an "angry ex-GM"?...that's mostly what I'm concerned about and well, since that will be your only post I guess I'll get the answer from someone else

There are much more, better documents to choose from for anyone who would actually want to build a convincing "flaming" post. I'm more interested in figuring out if a player is being harassed by High GM's

You didn't read to the end of the poster, did you? Oh, well, I like the server, a lot (that's what I said) and this server I like, well the High GM's are being accused of spreading hate & harassing a player by defamation of character.

Should I ask the question anyway? Did you or the GM Team take part in defaming a player's character by spreading hate messages, or treat a player unfairly based on biases which were formed during private conferences? Don't worry, not expecting an answer

Persistence can become a real annoyance, but using harassment and character assassination in hopes of shooing the persistent person away however, re-surges the case

I hope these claims of Seri being harassed by High GM's is nothing more than a facade to attract needless attention to herself. If not, my illusion of TalonRO will have been tainted, with clarity

So many RO servers, so many GM's, this incident is commonplace in the world anyway. Nothing new to see here tbh, just TalonRO GM's showing their true colors and another server biting the dust.

It's my community too, I've been a part of it since its launch. Most of us migrated over from AnimaRO to get away from situations similar to the one Seri has found herself in, enough said!

Well it has been what? 6 years since the Anima RO times.  It wouldn't be fair to talk about the two servers as they are one at this point in time.

I've been playing TRO for a long long time, and Anima before that, and in between a dozen or so other servers. I've had several contacts with Seri as well and from what I can tell, she's pretty brilliant. She can be incredibly insightful, and generally makes very good points. She was also very active as a GM ,up to a point during which she for some reason stopped and the next thing was her resignation thread.

Even though she is brilliant. She is a ****, like a massive massive ****. It's not even just stirring up s***, she has on several occasions blatantly accused the GM team of being corrupt, favoring player or being biased with absolutely nothing to back it with. She often makes these remarks on any thread where GM's disagree with her, she needlessly stirs up drama and other crap so I can definitely see why the GM team would dislike her and I could never wrap my head around as to why they even hired her in the first place.

As for this "case" or whatever the hell you wanna call it. I don't see anything there that could be considered publicly flaming Seri or stirring up hate, granted I don't really bother with IRC. But I've yet to see anything in game at least.

I'll leave it at this: Seri has on numerous occasions stirred the s*** pot, publicly. She reaps what she sows. Honestly, I'm surprised they haven't just outright banned her, but that wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea. Problematic players- ESPECIALLY ex-staff members, should know better than purposely causing strife for the GM team. It's a waste of time and effort to have to constantly tend to someone spouting off. "Enough said."

You guys make it sound like I am constanly posting hate threads about the GM or spreading GM hate on the server. This is not the case. Please share on what evidences that confirms I have made "remarks on any thread where GM's disagree wth her." Yes, I did have a fight with them when I was fired for Boreas' personal petty reasons and no other GM stood up for me. Now, I quit as a player and gave my reasons to the server, but I see no point in bashing my creditability here. If there is to be some true discussion here, then why not defend on point of the topic instead of flaming me?
