The latest build of Avast detects LeisureRO's patcher as containing malicious code that attempted to run twice before I could even delete it, while the installer was still running. The patcher executable had not yet been called. This is extremely suspicious, and I have NEVER had an RO server installer trip any of my antivirus or anti-malware programs. I can generally tell a false positive from a real threat, so I would suggest the server owner either explain this in detail immediately, or the server be removed from RMS for liability reasons.

Sorry can someone knowledgeable confirm this before I take action?

Most Anti-virus programs see Neoncube (and some other patchers) as "back-doors" for malware and other viruses to get in.

I use Avast, and I have never seen anything like that. I'll download LeisureRO's client later and will check.

And so you killed yourself,
but you killed everyone else around you too.

The Ragnarok Lite patcher is also recognized as a virus by some scanners. With Ragnarok_RE being changed by Gravity I can see more servers using that one instead.
